Total failure. Rude and unprofessional staff. Very few viewing of the house. Promised communication failed to happen as the norm. Poor quality photographs of house and near illiterate description of house and garden. Agents appear to be in league with the one buyer to get a cut down price so the house could be rented out by them. If you want to sell a home in Hucknall try another agent.

I have a buy to let property in Barking bought from and managed by the local Bairstow Eves office. I'm VERY unhappy with the service I receive from them. I pay a monthly service charge and yet get no service.Every month, the rent paid to Countrywide by Housing Benefit on my tenant's behalf goes astray. Every month it takes weeks of emails to trace the money despite my tenant sending a reference number. Housing Benefit have invited Countrwide to sign up to the landlord's portal so they know exactly when the rent is being paid. I have no idea whether Countrywide have signed up because neither they nor the Barking office respond to my emails. The January rent has not yet been paid to me. This is causing problems with mortgage payments, service charges etc. I'm certain my tenant is not the only person in receipt of Housing Benefit that Countrywide deal with and yet they seem to have no system for dealing with what is after all public money.When I tried to submit this on your feedback form, this is what I gotWe're sorry, but something went wrong.If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

Absolute worst estate agents! Took our 6 months rent upfront told us we could move into the property only to be told 5 hours after we were due to get the keys that we weren’t allowed to have the property after all! We had paid for removals and were literally sitting outside the house only to be mucked about for the entire day. Very disappointing and if we could give them zero stars we would!

GoogleI can’t recommend this agency enough, what a fantastic service they provide. Me, my wife and 18 month old have been viewing rental properties in brentwood for 3weeks through different agencies, all we have been met by is lies and time wasters and pushy agents who do not care about us and only care about getting a sale. Finally we came across a property with Bairstow eves, spoke to STEVEN WARNER on friday and made a booking for monday, and even though we didnt go with with the property we initially viewed on monday morning, STEVEN showed us a different property within 15 minutes at brunel house as he listened to our needs and now we have agreed and have a moving date. STEVEN is the most honest, patient and proffesional agent we have ever dealt with. We cannot thank you enough. We will definitely use STEVEN and the Bairstow eves team as our one stop agent for our future needs. THANK YOU ALL.

Dishonest, incompetent, the last 18 months have been infuriating stressful and costly, systemic failures in their property management team, did not manage the property licensing process, Help2 Rent tenant, let the H2R rent guarantee expire, so no rent cover and tenant in significant arrears, a personal data breach, lost keys, among a litany of failures. Avoid this company at all costs look around do t be fooled by the size of this company, it’s size dwarfs its ability to manage a single property with competence or integrity.

While in the process of purchasing a property i had my mortgage adviser and solicitor, but the agent pressured me into using their services by stating multiple times on the phone the seller would rather the buyer use their services. After the third time i was pressured into saying yes because in all the telephone conversations i was not getting anywhere until I said yes.The mistake I made was having all this conversation in a telephone conversation instead of emails. Their complaint department just threw the case under the bus because I had no evidence and their telephone conversations were not recorded.I avoid this company and their services.

GoogleWe didn’t particularly enjoy our buying experience with Bairstow Eves. Of the mortgage brokers, solicitors, surveyors and the estate agents involved, they (Bairstow Eves) were definitely the weakest link. The estate agent we dealt with in particular quite often waffled, loudly, a lot and rarely paused to listen; needing sharp interjections from our side to keep discussions on track. She didn’t at one point ask our buying situation and in doing so missed the opportunity to let the property we were moving from. On our first viewing with said agent, we were restricted from viewing the garden which would have shown one of the key issues with the rear of the property. Intentional? We'll never know. The sale went through eventually, so we can be grateful for that.

They call you without saying who they are spying and acting like it’s your estate agent selling your home that you have chosen. I’m positive they are breaking data protection has they impersonate another acting estate agents. It’s not until you say can you conform who you are when you’ll be surprised to see it’s a spying estate agent asking for personal confidential information from you. I’ve recorded the calls to send onto the ombudsman has it’s against regulations.

Elaine and Adam are always quick to respond to queries, helpful in explaining issues and clearly have a very keen instinct about prospective tenants.
