GoogleIt's been a delight working with Jade and the team at R&R. They always answer the phone quickly, reply to emails within one working day and are pro-active and helpful with their advice, from initial outreach all the way through to contract stage and beyond (Joanna's been great too!) In an industry that battles with reputation issues, Jade's professional, personable manner should be commended and I hope she's recognised for her contribution to the business. Thank you!

GoogleWe were not looking forward to selling my parents house, which required significant work. However, Gavin and Tom were confident, cheerful, polite and professional and the sale progressed smoothly to completion.

GoogleI dealt with Josh at Rice & Roman in November 2024 when I bought a retirement apartment in Lightwater for my mother. The purchase went smoothly with Josh and his team keeping me informed throughout the process. True professionals to deal with, I''d recommend them if you are looking to buy or sell.

GoogleRice & Roman undertook the sale of a property in Hinchley Manor for my family. These properties are challenging to sell, given the restrictions on the leases for independent living retirement homes but Rice & Roman understand the procedure and the nature of the market. I would recommend them for a property of this type.

GoogleRice and Roman certainly pulled out all the stops on our marathon to exchange of contracts. At no time did they take their eye off the ball to achieve our required outcome.

GoogleI would like to say thank you to Gavin for his professionalism, help and perseverance in the purchase of the lovely flat my Mother has bought. He was always on hand to help and advise and when things looked a bit shaky he did all he could do to help. Mum has just exchanged and is moving in next week. I would recommend Gavin to anyone thinking of selling or buying.

GoogleTom Ward was extremely helpful when I was looking for a new home for my Dad recently. He listened to our needs/requirements and was very knowledgeable about the local area. He found the perfect place that also allowed Dad to have his cat with him. I would definitely recommend Rice and Roman, and Tom, if you're looking for a retirement home

GoogleExcellent service with Rice and Roman when buying a house. All correspondence clear and timely. Highly recommend. Special thanks to Gavin for supporting us through the process.

GoogleBy far the best estate agents I have ever dealt with. Extremely professional, honest and trustworthy. Joshua, Gavin and Tom were a pleasure to work with and kept us informed at every step along the way. We found my mother-in-law’s retirement flat through Rice and Roman and they did a great job of selling her old home. She is 85, widowed and had lived in her family home for 52 years. The team at Rice and Roman had an abundance of patience and understanding throughout what was a time of great change for her. I can neither thank them enough, or recommend them highly enough. To sum it up, they were outstanding.PositiveQuality

GoogleFrom start to finish Rice and Roman have been extremely helpful and professional in all aspects of letting our over 55s property. We were kept informed all the way and given clear pricing and notification of viewing appointment schedules. A special mention to Jade and Jo, thank you. I would not hesitate in recommending their lettings service.

GoogleThe agency provided great service from start to finish and helped to secure the flat I really wanted. Jade and Joanna (with whom I dealt) were exemplary in their attention to detail and the overall help they gave me to smooth the process. Moving is a stressful experience and R&R made things much less so. Thank you!

GoogleI recently sold a retirement property through Rice & Roman (R&R) having previously let the same property via their lettings arm. In all my dealings with R&R over some ten years + they have always been extremely helpful, going beyond expectation on many occasions, and were always very responsive to my enquiries. In the matter of selling the property their market knowledge was clearly very well honed and their management of the actual selling process left me feeling assured that my best interests were held to the fore at all times. Of particular note was Gavin Torry, R&R's Sales Manager, who did a fantastic job of stewarding the various parties all the while keeping me informed as to progress. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Rice & Roman in either a Sales or Rental Management capacity.

GoogleJosh and Grant sold my Dad's retirement flat and did a spectacular job throughout. They know the retirement village inside out, so we were able to price it well, and we sold at a good price. Plus they know all the background details as regards admin and so were able to quickly provide the solicitors with what they required. If you are selling a retirement/assisted living property then really save yourself the time, and use these guys.

Hi Adam. Thank you for your kind words. Both Grant and I are delighted it all went through and we wish you and the famlily all the best. Josh

GoogleFrom start to finish we couldn't fault Rice and Roman, Tom Ward was supportive throughout. Selling our old family home was tough enough and purchasing a new home for our elderly mother too but it all went smoothly down to Tom's help and professional manner. Highly recommend R&R.

GoogleHaving just completed a house sale with Rice and Roman, I cannot recommend them enough. Our sale was met with many issues and delays due to probate, however Josh and the team have assisted throughout the process, and gone beyond what is needed with efficiency and courtesy.
