Sophie Booker was the person I met in my search for moving home after contacting the office. She was such a lovely person to interact with, so helpful and kin in ensuring we get the best in what we are looking for. Even my little boy of 12year old fell in love with her because of her good attitude and reception towards us. Infact Sophie and Lilian Ghenim are wonderful person in treating people matter with respect and dignity with full support. Thanks to both of you in making this move a success for me and my family. Alesha, Matt and the team at Acorn were brilliant in all their work to sell our property. Alesha took over the main responsibility for our property sale and always kept in contact and was contactable. She was ready to answer any queries and showed a real interest in selling our property, getting viewings and being positive at a time when the market was not favourable. I have to make the contrast with the first estate agents we used. We were left feeling totally dejected and as though they had no interest in us. Alesha at Acorn was the complete opposite. Totally professional, and importantly to us, positive and interested in getting us that sale.

I found Acorn really great to partner with when searching for a new home. One of the staff Amir was super helpful from the beginning of the process, advising me on a few properties in the area and being honest in regards to work needing to be done etc. He even gave me and my wife a lift to another viewing and then to the station, going above and beyond. Amir even went the extra mile to make sure the property we wanted fell within our budget And when he was on leave from work, his colleague Joe was really supportive and always responsive when making contact with him. We chose Acorns because their original representative inspired confidence and was not pushy. The experience was generally professional and it took 8 months to sell the house at a much lower price than it had been put up for. They were friendly, pleasant and tried to be helpful throughout. We would probably not use Acorns again because we ended up paying more than we had expected. It was all in the small print of course so we had no choice. Also we felt as the seller we were asked to make compromises in favour of the buyer for example, we had said from the start we did not want to complete while we were away on holiday but we were more or less forced to do this.

I would like to say a big thanks to Lilia and Rakeem, they are very professional and helpful. They sorted out the problems for me without any hesitation, Lilia even went to ask her family to borrow a plastic yellow key to open the gas box and topped it up ready for gas certificate check. For electric, we had a debt left there, she kept running in and out to the flat and cleared it out, as well as Rakeem. With their help, the tenant moved in my flat on time. They are a wonderful team! Joe and Ashley at the Acorn Northumberland Heath branch dealt with the sale of our property and from the very outset they were extremely helpful, courteous and enthusiastic which resulted in the sale going through much quicker. Ours was a more difficult one as we were purchasing our new property in France so it was held up due to all the hurdles which the French property system presents. However having a very professional and efficient team dealing with our sale on the English side made for a much less stressful process as Joe was always on hand to smooth things over and push it along with updates on a daily basis. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to the relentless efforts of Joe and Ashley, we were able to move to our new French property a month before Christmas and are now happily settled in here. We would recommend this great bunch of guys to anyone buying and/or selling a property.
