I had an estate agent who overvalued my home, bringing in the wrong viewers. It wasn't selling. They then stoped actively promoting my house and just waited for someone to call. This went on for months. I then swapped to Douglas Allen and had a completely different experience. They got more viewings on the first weekend that the old agency and that was before it even went online. These guys work HARD. They communicate and care. They got my house sold in a matter of weeks. i couldn't recommend them enough.

The service received so far has been very professional - accurate and clear about the selling process and the specifics of my sale, very supportive during the viewing stage and provided sound and evidenced advice about the bids received. I was very impressed with the detail of info provided on the financial position of those putting in an offer and being able to have access to view activity online was a real help. All the staff in the Walthamstow office were professional and with sincere and welcoming smiles; I must highlight Maria Ticehurst though who was particularly helpful and understanding. I keep getting unwanted letters from Douglas Allen Epping branch. I have several times had to ask for them to stop sending letters which you would have thought would be a fairly straight forward job. I have now spoken to the Branch manager of Epping and still no confirmation it has been done, he wanted to get me off the phone as soon as possible. I will never recommend or use this company as if something this simple cannot be resolved I could not begin to imagine how they could sell a property. In response to the reply - I have already contacted the other department and they have no records either so it looks like I will still he receiving this unwanted post. Proving my previous point of the company being incapable of the simplest task.

As we wanted to return to the area, we contacted him again and he could not have been more helpful. He put so much time into searching for the right property for us. He knows his area amazingly well, has great insight, and his communication and people skills allow him to really get alongside a customer. I have never met an estate agent like him.
