I recently sold my property through the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen.I had used two different estate agents previous to this with no luck but my house sold within a couple of weeks of going with Douglas Allen.I have mainly been dealing with Ameer and Maria and they have been really helpful. This is the first time I have sold a property so don’t really know the process but they have helped me through every step of the way and I have been able to go into branch (COVID safe) and they have helped me go through any paperwork I didn’t understand.Everyone in branch are really friendly and happy to deal with any queries.For anyone not sure which agents to go with when selling their property I would highly recommend these guys

We were introduced to Douglas Allen Walthamstow via the Co-Operative Probate Service and Movewithus. We instructed them to sell our property. I wish I could find something positive to say about Douglas Allen Walthamstow and the Branch Manager but there is nothing. They completely wasted our time for over three months. We gave them notice and took our business else where. We instructed another estate agent, whose fees were cheaper, and they achieved a higher sale price, so we ended up being £12,000 better off. I DO NOT recommend Douglas Allen Walthamstow.

Robin Bowden and Matthew Hook from the Chigwell branch of Douglas Allen are exceptional Estate Agents. Robin, the branch manager, guided my brother and I through the process of selling our fathers house in possibly the most difficult of circumstances. Nothing phased Robin and he calmly and professionally dealt with every situation. Selling a house in lockdown was a daunting prospect, add to that the complexities of my brother living overseas, court of protection delays and myself living in a different area it looked to be a mammoth task but with the help of I Am Sold the auction company who worked with Douglas Allen, everything eventually worked out. We were advised to auction the property by Robin and it was beneficial financially for our father. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys, they are genuine, hardworking and go the extra mile.
