Oh, where do I even begin with this glorious letting agency? If you're looking for a masterclass in ignoring customers, avoiding responsibility, and achieving absolutely nothing, then look no further! These guys are true professionals, professionals at not responding to emails, never answering phone calls, and generally doing less than the bare minimum. In fact, I think they’ve elevated “doing nothing” to an art form.Need something fixed? Good luck with that! Expecting a response to your tenth email or phone call? How adorable of you to think that would happen. They’ll take your money with the kind of enthusiasm you wish they showed for literally anything else, then proceed to vanish like Houdini.Recommending this agency? Only if you enjoy watching a slow-motion disaster unfold in real-time. If “complete incompetence” is your vibe, then these guys are your perfect match. Stay away, unless you want the full experience of banging your head against a wall while screaming into the void. Absolute shambles. Even one star is far too much for the customer service, or rather lack of it, they 'provide'. This is a joke! Stay away from this agency if you can. Even the complaint team (nicely called customer care team... lol) don't get the grip of what they are for.

Poor service from this Branch, went to view flat for a cash purchase and emailed an offer, no response from them, even tried to call and it always goes to voicemail. Even when I went to view the flat the agent didn’t know anything about the flat, no double glazing but according to him it’s has, didn’t know if the flat had an up to date EICR, knew nothing about the central heating and water system. What is the point of him showing us the flat if he knew nothing about it and can’t answer basic questions.

Bairstoweves have been the managing agent for my property for over 5 years. I have now decided to sell and the service has been nothing short of brilliant from both the sales and the lettings team. Derek and Ali have been swift with their communication and have kept me informed with the process, the lettings team (Jodie, Genta and Dan) have been fantastic in arranging access through the tenants and I have found this process very easy. I wished i had looked on here before i used them to sell my flat. Avoid at all costs. There is a a number of lies that were told by the staff1). they told me they only offer a fixed fee, but then told my neighbour a few weeks later that they offer a percentage. Even when i asked for an explanation of this I never got a response. How can you expect someone to make an informed choice if you withhold information.2) I was told the purchaser was in a position to move quickly. I was informed by the staff that she purchaser had applied for her mortgage, then i was told they had problems with the computer system (for 3 weeks), then the rates had changed and they were arguing with the bank trying to get her the initial rates. This is complete nonsense as the rates are what they are and if you don't get the rate you want then you go else where. All in all the purchaser took 9 weeks to apply for a mortgage and when I had asked them to put the property back on the market they did not. Unfortunately as I had moved to another part of the country, i could not easily go back. Even the after sales lady for the estate agent for the property i was buying stated that Bairstow Eves did not know what they were doing, and what they were saying did not make sense. 3) I was told to pay for this package and you would get money back, which never happened. Then when i questioned this you only get it back if you use the country wide conveyancers However, this was not explained at the time, again withholding information. On top of that they charge you for pictures. They would not listen regarding the price i wanted the property to be listed at making an excuse it would get lost in the search. That is utter rubbish as i had paid for premium listing, and you can filter the results. They listed parts of the property wrong, and even though i contacted them it was never fully fixed. They are the reason estate agents are hated, and if i found my dream property and it was listed with bairstow eves i would leave it.

I find this company very incompetent

I find this company very incompetent, they can’t follow simple instructions, all I asked of them was to close all blinds as the property was empty which they repeatedly failed to do and on one occasion they left the conservatory door wide open and left site, if I didn’t have security cameras fitted around the building that door could have been open for a week!!

As a Landlord I signed up to Bairstoweve's "Full Management Service", their most expensive option. Thinking that it would obviously cover all the costs of managing the property for me. It did not.

Horrid branch with a disappointing service. I would not advice anyone to let from this branch. They do not give back deposits, they take you on a wild goose chase when calling, they are extremely unprofessional and i will be pursuing legal action because of how iv been treated it is disgusting behaviour. Jodie Langston is so helpful ! she goes above and beyond she wasnt earning from me as they didnt even manage the property . They found me a tenant and she couldn't be more helpful when I wanted to serve notice was always there for me when I need help and advice that a good agent ! not someone just helping because they're getting something in return ! I was very satisfied by all the staff at Bairstow Eves in Enfield Town, as soon as you walk in the door they are very welcoming and create a comfortable environment to be in. I would especially like to thank Shakir Ahmed for all his hard work in helping me and my family with our property. He is very polite, has great communication skills, is very warm and has given us such good advice that it was so easy for us to finally make a desicion. I would also like to thank Darryl and Nicholas who were also very helpful and respectable. Very happy with Purley Branch

The start of the process was excellent as Bella got my property on the market really quickly and I soon had viewings and accepted an offer. Unfortunately, the process then all went a bit wrong once it went to the solicitors. Frustration was mounting rapidly but the advice I was given from Bella and James was, in retrospect, absolutely right and I'm glad I stuck with it. They were instrumental in getting the problems resolved and the sale has now gone through. Later than hoped but I can now see that given the issues this really was as quick as it could have been so I'm very happy.

Non existent communications or professionalism.

We initially contacted this estate agency through Rightmove for a property valuation, and they were quick to respond, which led us to book an appointment. After the call, we received several follow-up messages confirming the scheduled time, including one on the day of the appointment. Unfortunately, no one showed up.I called the Romford branch directly, but only reached an answering machine. I left my details, expecting a call back, but that never happened. I even followed up with an email and checked my junk mail just in case, but received no response.This experience was highly disappointing. The lack of communication and professionalism was frustrating, and I found them to be very unreliable. I would advise others to avoid this agency.

Corrupt Liars

Trying to buy a house. Lied continuously for a week that the seller hadn't got back to them, when I spoke to the seller, he told me they'd arranged new viewings. They never get back to you and seem very disorganised.They also try to sell you their own mortgage advisor and tell you that using them will give you an advantage.There is a reason their nickname is B*****d Thieves.
