A huge thank you to the entire Enfield office! Ben, Jay, and Shannon were absolutely fantastic throughout the process. They never made me feel like any question was too small, and their support was invaluable. I really appreciate how they guided me every step of the way. I have to admit, I should have taken their advice on the solicitor! You were right: the cheapest option often ends up costing more in time and stress. After all the chasing I had to do, I feel like I’ve earned a conveyancing qualification myself! A special shout-out to Ahsanul, who was exceptional. I’ve worked with several mortgage brokers before, but his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He saved us both time and money, and his customer service was second to none. I was initially sceptical, but he completely won me over, I’ll definitely be coming back when it’s time to renew. He explained everything clearly, broke down the true costs of moving, and showed me why the lowest rate isn’t always the cheapest over the fixed term. These are insights I’ve never had explained to me before. After my first appointment with him, the sales team even came up with a leaflet plan and found me a home I didn’t think I could afford. Truly a team effort! Thank you all for making what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. Highly recommend this team!

Poor quality viewings and service

The Clapham branch sales negotiator was late for the viewing and didn’t ask anyone from the office to notify us (15 minutes late). He had also double booked the appointment, the entire booking was a bit of a disorganised mess. There was a fair bit he wasn’t aware of and generally wasn’t that helpful. The specifications I gave weren’t followed in the viewings. I was ignored when asked if I wanted a broker and my contact information was shared when I had asked for it not to.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, they come across very professional when they value the house, but once its on the market the staff are unhelpful and take days to answer emails. The details were incorrect online as it was put live without us agreeing the details, the pictures were awful and the one thing we did make them change. There has been no effort to sell the house, only having one viewer in two months. Only to find out that the contract is for 4 months too, devastated. Stay away from this company.

Avoid this agency, Extremely Stressful Experience Communication was very poor from the start. Repeated calls were ignored, emails went unanswered, and I was left chasing for updates for months with little to no response. Promised callbacks simply didn’t happen. When I decided to cancel my contract, my requests were ignored multiple times, which made an already stressful situation even worse. They also failed to renew my property listing on Zoopla for over a year, despite several requests, significantly impacting any chance of selling. Overall, dealing with them has been exhausting and unnecessarily stressful. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend considering other agents.

DO NOT TRUST BAIRSTOW EVES, Property Rented Without a Valid Licence

I am writing this to warn other families. My family and I have experienced nothing but stress and chaos since renting a property through Bairstow in May 2026.After moving in, we discovered to our horror that the property was let without a valid property licence. When we raised this serious legal issue, the agency completely absolved themselves of responsibility, blaming the landlord. Under UK housing law, letting agents have a strict legal duty to verify and ensure proper licensing is in place before letting a property.The customer service at this branch is shockingly unprofessional. Particular staff members, Mehmet, Rejaul, and Exene, are completely evasive. They take weeks to respond to emails and refuse to answer the phone. On the rare occasion we do manage to speak to them over the phone, they make empty promises to send over details, only to go completely silent and ignore all subsequent emails.Avoid Bairstow at all costs if you value your peace of mind and legal safety. They take your money and completely abandon their legal obligations.
