By far and away the worst estate agents in Shropshire, from the snotty attitude of its ‘sales negotiators’ to the lack of communication, throw in a couple of ‘Ghost viewings’ and not being able to find my own listing anywhere, how they are still in business is beyond me, if you are thinking of selling, buying or renting please please please do yourself a favour and go to a competitor, you can thank me later.I will never deal with these inept fools ever again, they just suck the nice right out of you!!!!

Following the death of my father, I sold the house just shy of 12 months post his death, no issue with the sale.My experience relates to the email received this week from DB Roberts stating a “Happy Anniversary” it’s been five years since you moved. The email then went on to push me to sell with them again!Although years have passed, this email from them still upset me.I have emailed DB Roberts twice and both emails ignored. Obviously don’t careInteresting GDPR came into effect a year after I sold and I’ve not given permission to hold my details. So second issue is the breach in my privacy and data.The stigma of being an estate agent in the days of gazumping just goes to show that 30 years on, still haven’t become professional

Could always phone and speak to someone who knew the details of the property I was selling, got regular email updates, requests for advice were timely and appropriate, appointments were always on time, was confident they would do a good job showing prospective buyers around, very happy with the brochure produced and all the staff that I met/spoke to.

these jokers never call you back when they arrange to two days of promising to call and ive had to call them to be told you will be called back later in the day no calls so ring againto be told im on my own in the office call back will happen before 515pm today no call so i ring back another person answers and says hold on i will get so and so then to be told we will call in the morning bad bad service

Worst company ever if your thinking of selling or have had a offer accepted please go to another company this is by far the worst ever experience me and my partner have ever been faced…they do not honestly communicate between seller and buyer they have the worst staff that lie constantly. I would never ever recommend them to anyone ever. They have wasted 4 months of our time lying to us making us wait a further two weeks saying the seller will do a report which was required and on top of that they have basically said you can do a the report but we are putting the property back on the market how does that even make any sense? very poor customer service talk about being unethical? we have been nothing but honest with them. I’m furious to be honest and then they have the audacity to say there is a language barrier problem with the seller lol that is not our problem they should get a translator then if that’s the case…we’ve done hard credit searches twice which affects us not them…I never once received a call off a manager and we was kept in the dark… I think they are in the business for wasting peoples time and conning people just for financial gain or commission don’t waste your time with them. They should be on a wind up page on YouTube because they’re an absolute JOKE!

Getting in touch with contractors to get the problem sorted quickly and efficiently.Thank you for dealing with the problem and liaising with the tenants.

We decided to sell our house a few months back and invited DB Roberts to give a valuation. They gave a very low valuation based old sales figures of other houses in the area (some up to 3 years old sales). Of the 3 valuations theirs's was 20 thousand lower than the other 2 valuation, that not being bad enough but the woman that came out was very pushy saying you wont get better, and you need to list now. We ended up sell within 2 hours of the house coming to market and at 25 thousand pound more than their valuation (Full asking price). It felt that Roberts were just interested in a quick flip at our expense. Wouldnt every approach them again. We sold through Manleys who were, courteous, proactive and yes sightly more expensive but worth the extra.

This story goes back to pre 1st lockdown.Listed my house with them last year, they sent round several waste-of-time viewers who had no intension of buying. After about 10 weeks we got an offer, then we went into lockdown. I asked them several times for an update, they said everything was on track, nothing to worry about, but they refused to put the SOLD board up saying it's not something they do, alarm bells are now ringing. Other local DB Roberts properties had SOLD signs up. Again further updates, everything was fine and on-track, but still no SOLD board. Then as I predicted, the day lockdown ended, they told me the buyers pulled out, I believe they pulled out long before, but didn't tell me in order to stop me going with another agent mid-lockdown. I immediately sacked them and went with another agent and the house sold in four days. DB Roberts were insistent that I cannot relist my house with another agent due to the terms of the contract, which was worthless as they also promised to provide a professional service, so they were in breach of contract anyway. 12 months on, we've been in our new house for a while now. Yesterday I got a call from DB Roberts saying someone wants to view my property - eh, we've been moved out for nearly 12 months. I just hung up on them as I couldn't be bothered dealing with their incompetence. I got an email, saying we got cut-off, we didn't I hung up. I checked their website and Rightmove and low-and-behold, they had relisted my old property and started arranging viewings. I contacted the current owners and they confirmed it is not for sale.So DB Roberts relisted my old property and contacted me to arrange viewings when I don't even own the property nor is it for sale.Their incompetence has found a new level, plus they may be in breach of the DPA.
