Engaged DB Roberts to sell a property, Communication was dreadful, in a 12 week period i was promised call backs on five separate occasions that just didn't happen. When I complained I was promised a manager would be my single point of contact going forward - guess what? She didnt return my call! Following an email complaint the staff chose not to phone me (as the complainant and main contact on the sale) instead opting to phone my 82 year old mother (the property owner). On another occasion I progress chased and was told they hadn't anything to report as they couldn't contact a recent viewer. I chased a week later to be told they'd spoken to them shortly after my previous call but they just hadnt bothered to update me. Generally made to feel unimportant and an inconvenience. Have now moved agents.

Lisa and the team were able to arrange for us to view within less than 12 hours, got our property on the market in 24 hours, agreed a sale in 5 working days and negotiated our onwards purchase within 1 Day. We have had support obtaining a mortgage and have been referred to a conveyancing firm who have completed initial paperwork immediately. As far as selling and buying a property goes, we couldn't have had a better experience. Communication throughout has helped manage our expectations and reduced stress. Strongly recommend using DB Roberts. Hopefully our sale and purchase continues to progress as smoothly.

We have now been dealing with DBRoberts for about 7 years. Selling, buying - but mainly trusting them to help & support us with our rental properties. We can not rate them highly enough. Lisa is our ‘go to’ & she is supported by a great team of friendly, helpful, supportive, professional & knowledgable people. Most recently, we needed help & support in finding a new tenant as our current one had been successful in buying her own home. DBRoberts had found her for us in 2020 & she was a joy, so when she moved on we turned once more to DBR without hesitation. This time, my contact was Tia - & what a great job she has done. She has supported, guided & advised us through the whole process & kept us informed at every step. She has been a delight to deal with & a great part of the team. Once again, the team have found us what we think will be great tenants who will be moving in very soon with the minimum of delay so that there is hardly any break between our tenants - just enough time for our property to be inspected & any small jobs it needs doing to keep it in A1 condition. In this part of the process, we were supported very well by Alison, who we have come to trust as a good judge of character - & Lisa is always there as a guiding hand who oversees the whole thing. We feel confident that our new tenants will work out well - but we also know that if we have any problems or issues at all, once again, DBR will be there to help & support us through whatever it is. We also appreciate that they will be there to help our tenants too & we hope that they have felt supported, well advised & helped by DBR too. We like to think we are a team working together so that all concerned have a good experience. For us, we believe that DBR certainly achieve that.

Emily Little was always friendly during interactions. I fed back that second viewings would benefit from additional time allocated to allow for measurements and a more in-depth look of the property, which she took on board and offered to arrange another extended viewing. She was compassionate when I shared how I found price negotiations on properties stressful and did not push me into making an offer until I was ready to do so. When I asked for additional information on the loft space on a property I viewed, photos were taken and sent to me promptly. Overall, I would recommend Emily as an estate agent.

Five years ago I sold my property with DB Roberts, having been happy with the service, I invited them to carry out an appraisal on our next home. Surprisingly, they remembered me from all those years ago, which I thought was a really nice, personal touch. I found Katie Dennant to be incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and in addition to this, she squeezed us into her super busy diary last minute to suit us.Another special mention and our personal thanks to Katie, who was the only agent, out of four other competitors, to pick up on a particular stipulation associated with our house, which meant we could not put our property on the market this year. Katie’s awareness and scrutiny surrounding this particular stipulation avoided multiple parties wasting time and funds. We were really most grateful for this. While we cannot put our house onto the market this year, we shall certainly be back in touch with her when we are in a position to do. Big thanks to Katie!

From valuation to listing (so far) Dan, Gary, Alex have all been wonderful. Such a lovely friendly team. Gary is a hoot! I was nervous having somebody come and photograph the house as it is a personal project but Gary put me at ease and had me in stitches within seconds of opening the door. An excellent company to rent with. Our property manager Bethany and letting agent Tia have both been amazing and made the whole process smooth and not stressful. They are both always at the end of the phone/an email with any queries we may have and keep regular communication. The staff are also lovely, friendly and very helpful. They have truly looked after us, advising on any issues we have had and carrying out regular inspections to ensure we are happy with the property we lived at. They were quick and professional with both the tenancy start and end, and kept me informed with all the necessary steps that I needed to take. After meeting Bethany and Lisa they are both wonderful people and certainly take pride in their work and most importantly made our first renting experience wonderful.

Tia at DB Roberts was so welcoming and helpful during the entire process of us looking to rent a property, right from the very first phone call of arranging a viewing she was super warm and friendly. Then during the application process there was no issue to silly for her to handle. She made sure to keep us updated during all steps, and was so approachable ! The other women we dealt with in this process (Allison for the viewing) and the women in the office who were very welcoming when we had to go into the office to sort out some referencing issues were also incredible. Overall the experience I have had with Tia and the DB Roberts team has been so amazing and so welcoming. Would definitely recommend them to anyone else who wants a smooth transition into a new home !
