GoogleWe bought a house listed by David Clark. While we therefore aren't the paying client, would have nothing but praise for Barbara, who did everything possible to help during a stressful move! Always chasing parties to help move it on, it felt like she was the only one responding at times, when we felt let down by everyone else. We know who to use if we ever sell!

From start to finish of our experience over the last three and a half years of working with David Clark & Co we have receieved courteous, straightforward, informed, efficient service with a sense of humour delivered to us every time we have been in contact with any member of their team. And I name them as a team as the sense is that everyone is well informed about all the properties that they are managing. From the first viewing of the flat when David allowed us the space to make our own decision and yet also gave us information that we asked for and did not push us at all, through managing our tenants, to the amazing way that the property was sold for a much higher price than we had anticipated, the experience has been be excellent. I cannot but highly recommend this company who have restored my faith in Estate Agents. Thank you everyone at David Clark & Co.

We were very happy with David and the service he provided. However David's personal high standards were not always replicated when dealing with his office staff. Emails sent asking for help and advice were often not replied too. Telephone conversations were quite negative and non supportive when trying to aim for deadlines. As our acting estate agent except for David coming round personally we had no other contact whatsoever and felt very much on our own when dealing with solicitors, surveyors, structural engineers etc. We sold another property at a similar time in the Peterborough area and had lots of support, encouragement and updates from our estate agents via email and telephone. Therefore in comparison the service provided by David Clark was severely lacking in many areas.

Hi Jan, thanks for taking the time to post a review and I will discuss your comments with the team. As you can see from the other comments on this site we generally "get it right" most of the time. Your particular transaction went through very rapidly: offer on 2nd November, to sale agreed on the 8th November to exchange and completion on 22nd December. I was made aware of the survey hiccup and called to see if we could offer any help and suggested contacting an engineer we knew. The result was that some work needed doing which only you could authorise so I accept you may have felt on your own. We will take a look at the reporting processes going forward. We wish you both well in your new home.

From our very first contact with David Clark & Co over three and half years ago, until we completed on the sale of our flat yesterday we have received courteous, informative, non pushy, efficient, well measured information, service and guidance from David and every member of his team. They behave as a team and all seem to be well informed about what is happening with the properties they deal with, I could not rate them more highly and dealing with them has restored my faith in Estate Agents. I have one down side to comment on which is that I was not informed of the percentage of the sale that I would be charged by them. I would have no hesitation in recommending David Clark & Co with regard to buying, selling and letting of a property. Thank you!

Our property has been rented through this agent for nearly 7 years, and now sold and throughout, the service we have received has been exemplary. We are based in Australia but we have been very relaxed that everything about managing and selling our property was in the safest of hands and we didn't have any worries or concerns. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was organised for us and David went the extra mile every time to make everything go smoothly for us. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Looking at the available estate agents in Ely, i'd go back to David Clark every time. It's a very straightforward, open and honest process from start to finish not to mentioned friendly. Our house move was a very slow process (not the fault of David Clark). From start to finish we were kept updated and they worked very hard to keep all the parties pushing along. They we great at every stage ! Another thing to note is that they had time for us. whether phoning or popping in, they are always there and able to help. No fobbin off, no long waits,
