We first rented through David Clark & Co around 9 years ago and stayed in that property for 3 years, only moving because our family had grown and we needed a larger home. During those 3 years we never had any issues, and whenever something did arise it was dealt with quickly, fairly and efficiently by Don and the team. Fast forward 6 years and we found ourselves needing to move again. The rental market is incredibly competitive and, after receiving notice on our previous property, we were feeling quite stressed about finding somewhere suitable. As a mature student and a self employed household, we were not necessarily the strongest applicants on paper. What meant a great deal was that Don remembered us after all those years and remembered the type of tenants we were. That trust and loyalty ultimately helped us secure the home we wanted. Don has always been professional, fair, honest and easy to communicate with. He kept us updated throughout the process, explained everything clearly and was always happy to answer questions (however silly). It is rare to find someone who sees the person behind the application. Thank you to Don and the team at David Clark & Co for making what could have been a very stressful process run so smoothly. I had the pleasure of dealing with Don for 6 years, we found a property that was available for rent and had a viewing, Don was such a down to earth guy, so friendly and helpful. The process of renting was so easy, about 2 weeks before we was due to move in there was a problem with the current tenant, and Don advised we may not be able to move in on the agreed date, we had furniture due to be delivered and he truly went above and beyond to do everything he could for us. When we moved into the property, Don was always available on the phone if we had any problems (which was rare) but anything that happened he responded within a couple of hours and issues were often resolved same day. Our property was taken over by a different letting agent, however if we ever needed to rent another property of look to buy a property Don would be the estate agent I would turn to. The team are absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to deal with.
