We sold our house through the Jackson-Stops, Bury St Edmunds office. We knew the staff there from the original purchase of the property and were so pleased with that experience that we chose them for the recent sale. The team in Bury St Edmunds were effective from day one. The marketing material was well thought out and very professional. The task of showing potential purchasers around the house, answering their questions and working with us to keep them well informed worked very well. As exchange and, ultimately, completion days came and went, the team shifted up a gear and it all happened in a blink of an eye. Working with Jackson-Stops was a pleasure, a 5-star experience. Buying a home can be a stressful experience, but Louise, Rebecca, and the entire team at Jackson-Stops made the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. From the very beginning through to completion, they were with me every step of the way, offering guidance, reassurance, and exceptional support. Communication was absolutely top-tier. I was always kept informed, questions were answered promptly, and I genuinely felt like they cared about making the experience a positive one. Asked to view a property on Bures Road and was told I had to provide proof of funds before even being allowed a viewing. I understand proof of funds is needed at offer stage but demanding it just to view a house is unnecessary and comes across as rude and intrusive; the tone felt more like an interrogation. And for clarity, questioning an asking price is not the same as being unable to afford a property. In a previous transaction, we declined to overpay for a house we did not believe was worth its asking price, and it later sold for significantly less. That is a valuation judgement (a mistake by the same agent), not a funding issue.

Jackson-Stops, Cranbrook Branch recently sold my house. They were brilliant, helpful and great with communication which is rare these days. Rachel with whom I dealt with was lovely, so friendly and so patient with all the endless calls I made. They say selling your home is one of the most stressful things you can go through. Its no easy ride but I can only say that Jackson-Stops made it as easy and calm as it could be. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you live in Kent and you want to sell your house, they are your go to agent. Brilliant. If Trustpilot had 10 stars to hand out, then that is what I would give Alastair and his great team in Cranbrook.

We hadn’t intended to sell our property. Our first conversation with John Williams, the Sales Director at Jackson-Stops in Weybridge, was more of a casual discussion than anything else. But from that initial chat, John and his team moved with remarkable pace and ingenuity. Within a matter of days, they’d lined up over 15 viewings. All this without the property being marketed online, and without any photos or a floor plan as we preferred the discrete/ off-market approach. Their enterprising nature and deep network created real momentum, and we received a proceed-able offer immediately after the first weekend of viewings. All this within two weeks of that initial conversation. Once the offer was accepted, Justine Davies stepped in to guide the process through to exchange. It wasn’t a straightforward journey - there were a number of bumps in the road, having to manage us, the buyer, as well as the chain above us through all of it - but Justine remained calm, collected, and consistently supportive. Myself, partner and small baby moved into our new house this evening and cannot express how magical it feels to finally be in our new family home. I first met Justine Davies when I purchased my first one bedroom flat a couple of years ago and she was incredible with my first home buying experience. I felt so out of my depth and was put straight at ease as soon as Justine took control of my first steps onto the property ladder. I knew from this experience that if I were to ever sell the flat, Justine would be the person who would sell it. I cannot put into words how incredible this woman is at her job! In fact it’s not her job, you can feel how much Justine lives and breathes the property industry, and when your making the biggest purchase of your life you kind of want somebody who knows what they’re doing! I contacted Justine some months ago regarding putting my flat on the market due to having a baby and within a couple of weeks my flat was sold. I cannot believe how quickly it all happened. Justine took her genuine time to ask about my baby and I’m actually sad to know our regular contact will be coming to an end now we have moved into our new house! I can’t imagine ever going through this process without her. Decent Letting Agent.

Everything went well and communication was good. They were also helpful when we wanted a second viewing. The downside was our landlord was hounded during the referencing process, even when we were promised they would not be contacted if we allowed the open banking. This resulted in our landlord discovering we’re leaving before we had a chance to tell them. Aside from that, it was a pleasant experience. We dealt with Eloisa in the Weybridge office and Loren for any letting problems - both are engaging and are fast to respond.

I recently had a challenging experience with Jackson Stops Agency regarding necessary repairs to my flat that required me to vacate temporarily. Initially, my attempt to address the issue was frustrating. When I called the agency, I was met with an unhelpful and hurried response from a staff member who informed me that the rental team was in a meeting.
