Portolio IS the answer if you are looking to sell a rental property with tenant in situ. I looked at the alternative - giving notice to a long standing tenant, refurbishment for the private market with an uncertain future value and no rental income while we did this - and it was lacking in appeal. Ross handled the sale professionally with just the right amount of advice and contact. I am delighted with the result, especially as all undertaken during the pandemic. I'm sure the tenant, who has retained his home of 15 years, is too.

Have had an excellent experience selling our tennanted property with the help of Ross and Chris at Portolio , we were renting out the family home to help pay my mums care home fees and when the time came to sell finding a buyer willing to take on the property with tennant remaining was the best option for all concerned , no distress / disruption for the tennants , no pre sale repairs or refurbishment for us and no giving notice and waiting to sell. The service was professional and friendly , a buyer was found within a week and Portolio kept everything ticking along by liasing with our solicitor, our letting agent and the buyer right up to the day of the sale , job well done , would definitely recomend.

I am delighted to be able to post such a positive review for Portolio. We recommend them to clients who are looking to sell properties with tenants in situ and I am pleased to say they did a really good job while selling one of our Director's own properties. We had some really good tenants but it was the right time for the Director to sell the property. By using Portolio our tenants retained their home and we retained rental income right up until the point of sale. This was particularly important as the first purchaser had to withdraw their offer. If the flat had been on the open market we would have had a few months of no income and mortgage payments to make and the hassle of changing our insurance etc- however because we had rental income coming in there was no real stress and we had the luxury of being able to wait for another good offer. The sale was seamless and the tenants were pleaed to have very little disruption to their lives - especially important during Covid. Chris and Ross did an excellent job and it was great to expereince first hand the service they have offered for a number of our clients to date. Thank you!

I just wanted to provide a quick review of the service that I received from Portolio Ltd during the process of marketing and ultimately selling my investment property. I was introduced to Ross & Chris through my letting agent and informed that Portolio specialise in selling investment properties to active investors. Ross immediately got to work in order to obtain the required information and photographs of the property to allow marketing to start as quickly as possible. Although the property took longer to sell than both Portolio and myself wanted, I have been very impressed with the way that Ross maintained focus and never stopped marketing & promoting my property. Ultimately we did achieve a sale at a price that was acceptable for both myself and the investor/buyer. I was very impressed with how Ross maintained excellent levels of communication with all the relevant stakeholders throughout the full process. In conclusion, the whole process and experience with Portolio has been very positive and I would definitely use these guys again and recommend them to any investor that is considering selling or buying an investment property.
