Back in June, we purchased a property in Edinburgh that had a tenant in situ and I have to say, Portolio were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. I honestly cannot recommend them enough, especially Ross, who was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable about Edinburgh property market and was genuinely interested to understand our needs and was super helpful throughout the whole process and right until the end. We very much appreciated that he introduced us to the tenant prior to completion and that he always followed up on any correspondence and kept us fully updated. The existing tenancy was actually managed by a different property management agency, yet Ross was so kind to contact them and obtain all required tenancy paperwork from them on our behalf. Absolutely amazing, we felt that he knew more about the tenant than the agency that was managing the let. I would most definitely recommend Ross and Portolio to anyone considering buying a tenanted property, as well as to any landlord that might be hesitant to put their tenanted property on the market.

I've recently completed the sale of a rental property using the services of Portolio, and the process was utterly straightforward from start to finish. My property has a sitting tenant, and Portolio matched my property with a buyer who then took on the tenancy - ideal for me as a seller, so that there was no empty period; and perfect for the tenant, who had the reassurance that his tenancy would continue. I dealt with Ross and he could not have been more helpful. Chris at Portolio was an absolute joy to work with. I simply did an online search to find him and it was a great move to work with him and his company. I was purchasing a property from abroad and it was my first time doing this so the process was new to me. Chris went through the process with me step-by-step and was extremely patient and helpful. He did so much more for me than just find the house. He helped me find a mortgage, helped me find a letting company, got insurance quotes for me, gave me great advice on the Edinburgh property market, and on and on. He was always available on the phone and over e-mail. He would always get back to me quickly if he wasn't available when I called and nothing seemed like too much trouble for him.
