I’ve been really impressed with…

I’ve been really impressed with everyone I have dealt with at Mov8, the sale of my property has gone really smoothly. Thank you. My one critiscm would be that at the start of the process I was told I would have a single point of contact- which is just not the case. I have been passed from department to department that deals with each stage of the sale. This hasn’t been a problem at all, and has worked really smoothly- but it’s misleading to tell people that this is what they can expect. Special thanks to rachel, my negotiator, who has been especially good.

Mov8 have been fantastic in the selling…

Mov8 have been fantastic in the selling of my property. I wanted to go with a local agent for a long time but my partner wanted to use some one “cheaper.” I felt that might impact service/quality however I was wrong. They arranged everything so swiftly and efficiently taking into account I wanted to move fast. The pictures taken were brilliant on the first go. A big thank you goes to Stephanie Smith who looked after me through the process, she was extremely prompt at reply to my questions of which I had a few. I manage clients for a living so it’s not easy to impress me but she certainly achieved it. I would definitely recommend Mov8 to anyone even, they even achieved more than the home report value for me.

Good

I was happy overall with the level of service. The valuation process was realistic and helpful. Both the marketing and conveyancing side had a decent speed of response and were generally helpful. On the negative side, the know your client process was complicated and it wasn't made clear initially that both me and my wife had to go through it, leading to a lengthier process. Also, the marketing team did not respond appropriately to some requests for change in the marketing literature. As our flat sold quickly, this was not a major issue though. I dealt primarily with Scott, Stephanie, Kenneth and Margarita and would like to thank them all. Despite some minor glitches, I would say the company did a decent job at a reasonable price.

Mov8 real estate have been absolutely fantastic, from the first time they came out to meet us. They are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble! They really do make everything stress free and are just on the other end of the phone if you have ANY questions even if you think they are a bit stupid. Emma stark and Aisling Divin where exceptionally good! They always get back to you when they say they will and do anything to make sure you feel well looked after! We have luckily sold our house in 1 week with mov8 for the money we wanted, I think comparing photos etc to other people selling their homes with other companies ours had amazing quality and really was modern and what people wanted. I would be delighted to recommend Mov8 real estate and will 100% be using in the future.

All in all a great service and good value

Mov8 have a very slick system which encompasses and benefits from both a speedy automated system, with plenty of staff dealing with viewing enquiries, and also a personal interface where a specific agent is allocated to the sale, this agent being easily contactable. In my case Nicky Wilkinson handled the sale and was excellent to deal with. She kept me up-to-date and was easy to get hold of if I missed a call or had a question. Even when she was not around a colleague phoned me and kept me informed. All in all a great service and good value.

I found MOV8 to be efficient and reliable, From the first visit to completion of the sale, all staff members were friendly and helpful. I asked for the details on the advertising board to be changed (over a weekend) and this was done the following Monday morning, Very efficient service. My negotiator was extremely helpful and patient and explained matters in a clear and considered way and didn't rush me. I have already recommended MOV8 to two potential sellers.

Overall happy with the experience …

Overall happy with the experience however there are still areas that need improvement as follows - As all of my viewings were by appointment I wasted 7 days going to the property to find that they did not turn up - Although this is not exactly MOV8's fault I did feel that % wise that this was higher than expected.Communication - Again this needs looked at. I am away a lot on business so cannot always be available to do viewings and despite advising that I was in Prague for 6 days received numerous calls asking for viewings! On top of this I was called away on business on short notice and called and spoke to them to advise I needed to change a booked appointment I then received a call saying that they were outside my property which is disappointing. My final disappointment was when I told them the final date for viewing would be the 26th of November as I was going away to New York I then received 2 more calls asking for viewings! I also had feedback from viewers that it took them a couple of days sometimes to come back to a viewing enquiry.My other gripe was the length of time it took to get the property on the market - Nearly 5 weeks from initial request.Other than that it went well and my property sold and I got more than I expected for it.

We used MOV8 for selling and buying and I could not reccommend them more! Definitely value for your money and always friendly and approachable. Nicky dealt with our Sale and Kevin our purchase, both did a great job. The conveyancing team were quick and efficient. Richard dealt with both aspects and although we were not able to deal with him in the last week, our sale and purchase still went through smoothly and everything was communicated very clearly by other staff. Happy with service, fair fee

The end-to-end process was fairly hassle free. The systems (online portal, text messages to arrange viewings) were appreciated and allowed me to know what was going on whilst at work without being disturbed. My main contact with Nicky, and although initially there I struggled a bit to get hold of her, once the property was on the market I was kept up to speed with all key developments. I also think that the service provided was always very professional and polite and of a standard that I was happy with. One area for improvement would be that some times when there were multiple viewings being arranged they were being handled by various different Mov8 employees, this occasionally meant some crossed wires (e.g. bookings being made for when I was unavailable or already had a booking), having fewer employees allocated to each property may help this. Overall I have been happy with the service provided, for what is a very fair fee.
