Pamela dealt with my contract’s paperwork flexibly and efficiently.
As regards maintenance, we had a problem with our kitchen lights (were blinking constantly) and Raine processed our request immediately and problem was solved in less than 24 hours.
Nevertheless, my mattress was needed to be replaced. Raine and Pamela ordered a brand new mattress, as a replacement (in contrary with other agencies that they often supply a used one in a fair condition).
Summing up, in my half year experience with Little Johns I have received (thanks to Pamela & Raine) professionalism and empathy for my needs as a tenant.

GoogleOne of the best letting agents we've ever used. Any time we've had a problem little johns maintenance team have been quick to get it sorted. Mary, and Maggie were both excellent during the initial application process, and resolving issues when we moved in. As a bonus during the move out inspection they were equally as friendly, and didn't deduct money from our deposit for trumped up cleaning fees (which is usually the case from a majority of rental agents). Overall very happy with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone.

GoogleCalled to make flat viewings and found their letting procedures to be rather racist and prejudiced against couples. Partner was told that as she is considered to be the sole income I would have to pay my share of rent upfront six months. When she questioned them about this they said it was in case we separated while we where living in that flat. What an absolute joke. Felt we were treated this way because we didn't have Scottish accents.

Faulty appliances have always been fixed or replaced either on the same day that I report it or the next. For example, I called them at 0915 this morning to report that my kitchen hob was faulty, and they decided, given its age, to replace it, and the new hob was fitted by 1115.

GoogleI booked the viewing for a flat at Stewart Terrace. Today morning I got the call to confirm the viewing and I confirmed it but after 10 minutes I got an email saying that the let agreed and they cancelled the viewing without any explanation. I called them and asked for explanation but they told carelessly that someone deposited money for that property. I know anyone can take the property but why the hell you are asking to book us for viewing and wasting time for us. I really don’t understand and don’t recommend this letting agency

GoogleBy far the best letting agency experience I had. I had been staying in a property managed by Littlejohns for almost 7,5 years, during my stay in Edinburgh. From the beginning I realised that I could trust them and that they take their job seriously. They provided me with all the necessary information that any new tenant in a new country needs to know. Always willing to help when needed, and never had an issue. Very polite and responsive to emails and phone calls. Moving in and out of the property went smoothly and were pretty straight forward. If I return back to Scotland I will choose them again for my housing.
