I have been a landlord with D J Alexander for several years and today is the first time I have had an issue dealt with on the same day. Dora was very prompt in replying to my email and following it up with a phone call. Her efforts to find me a cheaper quote are appreciated and she could not have been more helpful.

TrustpilotFlat inspection from Oliver
Oliver conducted an inspection of my flat and was very helpful and professional. He arrived on the early end of the time window, allowing me to go about the rest of my day without having to wait for the inspection. Oliver was very respectful, and took my minor concerns seriously, making notes and taking photos. The inspection was thorough, and yet did not feel invasive.
Thank you, Stephanie, for this excellent review. We will pass this onto Kieran and the Team.

TrustpilotCharging people for move out reference and deducting money from deposit without an explanation
A despicable company that I didn't even sign up with. Originally with Braemore Lettings Ltd which merged with DJ Alexander. Upon moving out numerous problems occurred. I can't even believe that for reference there is a £25 charge??? How is this allowed? Furthermore, they lost the keys I returned and I got charged for them as well. The flat was left spotless following their move-out checklist. The person who did the inspection confirmed that there shouldn't be any charges for cleaning. In the end, I got charged for cleaning as well, without any receipt or explanation of what I was charged for. Shameful behaviour. To be avoided at all costs.
