This is the ONLY agency asking us to have "mortgage in principle" before allowing us to view a property. The mortgage adviser took very detailed personal information, including bank details, then disappeared. Avoid!Follow up: As I honestly thought the person must have left after several messages went unanswered for a month, I approached the branch staff who recommended him. Eventually after a final message to him and the branch staff, I received a confirmation that our personal information has now been removed. No apologies from the branch but the marketing department did call me offering an apology and hoping I could remove this review. Well I agreed to update the case but not to remove the review. Seriously, the branch (Edinburgh) behaviour leaves much to be desired!

First time property selling and buying, so little unsure and unexperienced. Decided to use AC service as financial advice, sale/purchase negotiators and legal team under 1 roof. I found Edinburgh based AC Elm Row branch staff very professional, informative, helpful, responding to enquiries as soon as possible and via agreed channels of communication. There were no issues or problems during the entire process.

Fantastic experience with Aberdein Considine and the purchase of our house. Nikki was fantastic helping us with our mortgage and Samantha and her team were fantastic on the purchasing/conveyancing side. I am a first time buyer and one who was pretty much clueless about the process of buying a property. The team at Aberdein Considine have been extremely helpful and patient from the very beginning. I feel that I have been offered honest advice about mortgage options and also about various insurances I need. The fees were quoted from the beginning so I had a very clear idea of these. I was kept regularly updated throughout the process and was guided along through the steps with clear instructions as to what I needed to do and what would happen next. This was very reassuring. All of the staff I dealt with were friendly and welcomed any questions (though I didn't have many as everything was explained so well to begin with). I would highly recommend A&C to first time buyers, they have taken the fear out of a process I did not think I was an option for me. Thank you so much.

Everyone I dealt with at Aberdein Considine during the recent sale of my property was extremely helpful and kept me up to date with everything involved in the sale at all times. They arranged surveys and viewings and costs were very reasonable. During the latter stages of the sale they made things easier for me by sending documents to be signed to the Inverurie office. The buyer requested an early entry and the legal department dealt with a tight timescale very efficiently.

We have used Aberdein Considine many times during the years and I am pleased to report that their service is still as good as always. Our recent house purchase wasn't easy and tested the entire team. They demonstrated a great deal of stakeholder management, ownership and patience (not to mention cool heads and a balanced approach during a stressful time for my wife and I).Well done guys.
