We had a great experience with Leaders, especially with our Lettings Manager Chloe. After contacting several other agencies and facing long waiting times just to arrange viewings, Chloe was incredibly efficient, she quickly found us a suitable property and organised a viewing without delays. She was also very kind, friendly and approachable throughout the entire process. The whole process was very smooth. We passed the Goodlord checks quickly, signed all the documents without any issues, and received our keys in a short time. From start to finish, everything took less than two weeks, which was impressively fast compared to other agencies. Chloe was very helpful and professional throughout. She clearly explained what to do in case of any issues, gave us guidance on setting up and paying utilities, and even helped us arrange insurance right away for peace of mind. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift for our new home, such a nice touch! We are very happy and grateful for all the support, and we highly recommend Leaders to anyone looking for a professional and efficient letting agency🤗

A work colleague has narrowly missed being scammed by Leaders. She had the money (cash) for a deposit, having been given the option to pay a deposit or pay for membership for their scam. She took the cash to them and they refused her money and had decided that she HAD to go with the no deposit option - paying a monthly fee for nonsense and still being responsible for any repairs required. I know that the rental Market in Brighton is corrupt, this is a whole new level.

[From my earlier review, continued below: Sarah Campbell-Dawson in Licensing is absolutely amazing. There are so many hoops to jump through now with Councils that landlords are faced with hugely complex issue to deal with, with Councils who frequently do not even have their own systems properly in place; but who do not hesitate to make life miserable for the landlords. Sarah takes care of all of this with good humour and patience, and is able to take the hassle and worry out of the equation, and calm all fears.] Furthermore, Chloe Lettings Manager, & Iona Property Manager, are indispensably supportive in professionalism; prompt communication with owners, landlords and tenants; reliability; and liaison with Brighton Marina Management. Would highly recommend Fully Managed service if possible: it is not always recognised that there are so many aspects requiring attention to detail, and advice, which the majority of shop front agencies lack, when it comes to training, contract documentation, billing detail, licensing, inspections, repairs, utilities... and assisting with notifications to the dreaded Brighton & Hove City Council, which would be best consigned to the briny depths well beyond the windfarm where the fish speak French.

I am lucky enough to have had a couple of excellent modern flats at Brighton Marina (Orion & Sirius) with support from the Leaders Lettings Team, with especial thanks to Iona Onslow-Hughes for help with day to day management. Our first flat unfortunately presented with many snags but Iona worked beyond the call of duty to resolve these. Also, thanks to Chloe Bradwell and Molly Sibun on the lettings side - always ready with a friendly and efficient response when it's most needed. The Leaders software is now very comprehensive and seems reliable whether dealing with payments, bookings, maintenance or checkouts. Outside the Agency control are issues with the building management which has a few too many gremlins affecting some access issues. Mention of the security team however must be made as their army of cheerful personnel have kept us feeling very safe during installation of the new fire alarm systems. Malcolm

During the 37 years we have let our property at Brighton Marina through Leaders, we have had dealings with a number of the company's executives and managers and all have proved positive and professional. There is however one property manager who has stood out above all and he is Adam Mcilwaine. Nothing has faced him and he has dealt with all matters in a calm, calming and efficient manner while always prepared to go that extra mile. Leaders is fortunate to have Adam in the team. We have recently returned to the UK and found Chloe Bradwell and the team at Leaders very professional and helpful in setting up our tenancy at the Brighton Marina. They communicated well and responded to all tenancy set up requests quickly (Oct 22). I am updating this review because we have moved after living at the Marina for a year (Oct 23). We absolutely loved it. Amazing location, excellent support from Leaders, the apartment had everything that we needed and an incredible view. The check out process with Louise was outstanding, and I can thoroughly recommend living at the Marina and using Leaders.
