Brilliant Team at Pulborough Branch

We had a marvellous experience with Martin, Melissa, Tara and Kirsty at the Pulborough office resulting us selling our house for full asking price and buying our dream home in Bognor Regis.When our first buyer unexpectedly pulled out, we were devastated and feared losing the house we’d fallen in love with. However within a week Martin found us a new buyer who offered full asking price which was £5k more than the original buyer had offered! Throughout the process Martin was always at the end of the phone to offer advice and reassurance.Estate agents get a bad name and certainly all estate agents are not the same BUT Martin and his team at Pulborough are simply the best. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing, from the moment Maddie sat in our living room and talked about our property and sale, we had confidence in Cubitt and West. We had been thinking about selling for a while and had already had some disappointing almost disinterested agents around but Maddie was realistic and full of enthusiasm. The team organised viewings to fit in with us perfectly, marketed our property brilliantly keeping us in the loop every step of the way and best of all sold within days. It was all so easy and almost stress free (no move is ever stress free!). If you are exploring your options and not sure where to go I honestly cannot recommend Cubitt and West Highly enough.

When the time came to rent my property it was always going to be Portsmouth Cubitt and West. Abbie is absolutely amazing at what she does! Not only is she patient and efficient she also provides well thought out, personalised advice to make sure that landlords are tenants are well suited. Marcus has also gone out of his way to help us as we found our feet with renting properties and that's why we wouldn't go anywhere else!

Amazing service from Abi.

We had to find a rental for a short term very quickly with the added potential complexity of it being furnished. I contacted so many estate agents with little reply. We had a prompt, professional and efficient service from cubit and West in North end. Abbie was our contact and she was so kind and did everything she could for us. We were unable due to isolation to physically see the property so we had a video call arranged which meant that we still not miss out on the property. When we went in to sign contracts and pay our deposits it was pain free and done easily so and so I can't help but leave a glowing review. Thank you.

I have been really impressed with the service I have received from the team at Emsworth.From the initial visit from Daniel I knew I was in good hands.Within hours (possibly minutes!) of receiving the green light to market my property, Elysia was on the phone arranging viewings.She then spent more time in my house over the following 48 hours than I did myself, keenly showing my home off to prospective purchasers, keeping me in the loop every step of the way.To then receive an offer by the end of the second day on the market ... wow!!I know it's a while until completion, and I hope it all continues to go well, but honestly, thank you to you both, you really did a brilliant job and I will wholeheartedly recommend your company to any local friends who ever decide to sell up!

Great Experience

We worked with Cubitt & West over the past 3 months, as first-time buyers. All the staff were friendly, very helpful and proactive. However, we have to give a special mention to Terri in the Wallington branch, who showed us around a number of properties. Terri embodied the height of professionalism, patience and courtesy, with her general calm approach and temperament. She displayed an excellent ability to build a relationship with us very quickly, making it so easy to trust her extensive knowledge of each property and the local area. There was no “excessive sales pressure” but she still managed to highlight all the positive aspects of every property, extremely well and answered all our questions precisely. Now that I have been through the process of selling my much loved home through Cubitt and West (Patcham branch), I have a new found respect for estate agents. This team were truly excellent. They managed my property and situation in such a calm and professional way, they kept me informed of offers that were received and didn't push me to accept offers in order to speed up the process. Communication was frequent and positive. Cubitt and West seem to value properties very carefully and accurately, they then work incredibly hard to achieve the asking price, often resulting in extra work for the agent and a much better result for the client. Dear All New Potential Property…

Dear All New Potential Property Clients,Please steer well clear of Cubitt and West.I recently requested to rent a property and requested a copy of their application process and timing before making any deposit. This information was not provided and eventually managed to get the requirements only by telephone.We made our deposit based on the confirmation of the details that we provided we were told were acceptable to rent a property.We then received a credit check and to our surprise I had CCJ listed against my name in November 2019 from back in 2012! There was not letter informing us about this claim as I now currently work abroad since 2017.Cubitt told my wife that our application had been cancelled and that they were keeping our deposit of 320 GBP. My wife is now left homeless with 2 young children and the agent did not want to discuss anything further.You have all read this post and advised to be careful or best still to avoid this agent!I know they will counter this post with some old story they have made up., but please don''t believe a word of what they say.I am not the only customer who has had a bad experience with this agent if you carryout a google search there are thousands of people who had the same bad experience as myself.Stephen J PickingConsultant

Wouldn’t use any other estate agent!

After meeting Michelle we didn’t get any other estate agents in. Straight away we took to her open and honest nature. We didn’t want the usual estate agent nonsense and she was up front with all information and costs. As soon as we signed things moved quickly and met the members of staff who were selling our home. Both Leonie and Chevan were lovely and we felt confident they were looking after our best interests. Unfortunately our first buyer fell through, but this didn’t cause a problem as Leonie stayed late to re-market our property, within days we had another buyer thanks to C & W. We’ve now finally exchanged thanks to Lindy who’s been negotiating between us and the buyer to the end. From start to finish I would definitely recommend C & W Redhill.

Becky D at Portsmouth has been a star and has given us new faith in letting agents. After a turbulent year in an awful property we were getting desperate to move as quickly as possible. Our situation was never going to be simple and we've hit a few bumps along the way, but at no point did Becky give up on us and has done everything in her power to guide us smoothly to our new home. I have recently bought a house through the Cranleigh branch of Cubitt and West. I have found the whole team to be extremely helpful (Kerry-Ann, Ross and Pam) however I would like to thank Lindy Cunningham in particular as my sales progresser, based in Redhill, who has been really kind and patient with me as I have gone through this process during a difficult time. I have found the purchase stressful but she has answered my calls courteously and promptly along with my emails, chased up numerous queries and I feel has added the personal touch to the whole process. I am very happy with the service that Cubitt and West has provided and indeed I will be moving into my new house within the next fortnight which is both a relief and a joy.
