I had a viewing in windmill road gillingham on saturday I was early for my appointment and greeted by sandra. I have had lots of viewings with other estate agents recently but sandra was def the best. Her professionalism was amazing she was very honest which is rare for most estate agents :) and she knew everything about each room before we stepped in it. Sandra's knowledge of the area was great regarding parking near by facilities. Clearly she did her research before the viewing. I feel she is a real credit to the company and everybody should learn from her how to conduct a viewing in a professional way. She should be the face of customer experience for the whole industry not just hunters. I understand this is a sales environment and results won't always reflect how good or valuable a person is but hunters def should invest in this one for long term as the old saying goes people buy from people. Thank you so much Sandra :)

My brother and I contacted Hunters recently in relation to a 6 bedroom detached house with extensive parking & gardens in Buntingford Hertfordshire. We arranged an appointment with their employee Laura. My brother and I were so impressed by Laura from our first meeting in relation to her knowledge of lettings. She proved herself to be highly efficient and courteous during the following week and arranged all the certification, photos & floor plans for the letting with the individual contractors and in addition to providing us with beautiful Client brochures posted it on Rightmove within a very short time scale. I would highly recommend Laura and Hunters.

I recently sold 3 houses with Hunters in Gateshead and I have to say Hunters did a job a great job for me. A couple of the sales were not straight forward but they managed to get the sales over the line and and showed great worth ethic and professionalism. Rob is always on the other side of the phone going the extra mile to help out. They also managed my rentals and did an amazing job finding me great tenants. I have no doubt in recommending their services to anyone looking to buy sell or rent property in Gateshead and around. Anthony Jowers

I would give zero it i could. In disrepair for two years. Dont know were to start. Electics, mould, guttering, blocked toilets, firealarms. Dog poo on the floor when moving in. Overgrown ivy on the walls etc etc. im begging you dont rent from them. Fail to attend apointments etc

GoogleLooking to purchase a property we found that the Hunters team all seem to be on the ball. Very responsive, quick to organise viewings, always confirm the appointments. Quick to get back to you when making offers. Everyone has been polite and friendly. We specifically had Ellie show us around a few homes and she was incredibly friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome and at ease. This is really important for first timers! This relatively short experience has made an impact and we would feel very confident in purchasing with them.

GoogleAvoid, avoid, avoid. Such an unprofessional slipshod business, very poor communicators mainly dealing over the phone, reluctant to email for some reason. Constantly having to chase them, no initiative even forgetting to inform me of a viewing resulting in a buyer pulling out. So poor I changed agents and sold in weeks. Also watch out for the 21 day clause in the contract that ties you to them even when you leave. Such charlatans, go anywhere else.

While noting your comments, we are not ashamed to say that we do prefer to communicate via telephone, as we offer a personable, hands-on service. However, we do communicate via email when necessary, especially when sending over important documentation. We have also given to you directly, the factual reason as to why the interested party pulled out. In response to your comment regarding the 21-day clause within our contract; we do not hide that we require 21 days’ notice for a customer to cancel their agreement with us. This is industry standard. Finally, we’d like to congratulate you on achieving a sale on your property in the end, notably at a significantly reduced price.

What to say, utterly unprofessional estate agent. Some properties are for sale in ivyhouse road that we like to view, seen it in Zoopla. And was told that property is sold couple of weeks ago, off hand. I am sure as an agent they have access to the account and very easy to put it STC, rather than making people running around.

I have just recently moved out of a property that Hunters in Baldock were managing I can’t believe in the difficult times with the pandemic how absolutely professional and efficient they have been. Both Claire and Chloe were brilliant. Supported me through the exit all the way, made sure the deposit was quickly paid back quickly and fairly, at no point did I feel money was being held unnecessarily.I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of letting their home

Unfortunately, estate agents usually have exclusive rights on properties and if you find a property you really like, you will have to go through them whether you like it or not.It's also likely that you will only see this review when you have already had problems with Hunters, but just in case this helps anyone, here's my recommendation: avoid them entirely, find another property you like if they are managing it exclusively.After I ended my tenancy, they kept me waiting for weeks and weeks without any kind of information. I could've waited to receive the money of the deposit, but I couldn't accept is the complete neglect and lack of updates they put me through. They didn't return calls (when i called they were always busy) and never answered emails.After trying to contact them again and again, they only decided to do something when I said I would take them to the small claims court if necesary, Even with that, they did reply but with lots of nonsensical excuses.After I got my money I found out that the landlord, unlike me, had been in the loop for everything.I wasn't even notified about the meter readings taken on check-out day by the clerk so that I could close my accounts.Why was I treated so differently? Well, simple, they don't care about tenants, only landlords, because they are the ones giving them their cut, not us.Also, the agents were the ones holding my deposit, so the later the better for them. They were clearly not in a rush to return my deposit.Absolutely unprofessional behaviour from a big estate agent that has offices in multiple places. This is a money-making machine with no consideration for tenants.
