I honestly believe that Cubitt & West Redhill are the worst estate agents in Britain. Supposedly on the 4th March my property was sold. I then get queries because Cubitt & West were unable to explain to the purchaser what a 'Peppercorn Rent' is. 17th March I have heard nothing and after several calls I manage to speak to Cubitt & West, firstly to Tyrone who was no help at all and then to Michelle who later emails me to say that the valuation was being done that day but nobody turned up at the property to do this (?). Last Friday (1st April) I phoned to find out if I still have a purchaser and was told that someone would get back to me, nobody did. I have just phoned, got shouted at and told that there is nobody there that can tell me if I still have a purchaser, neither I or my solicitors have heard anything from Cubitt & West's proposed purchaser. Prior to accepting this offer other viewers turned up who were left standing in the cold & wet and no agent turned up from Cubitt & West and I had to show the viewers around the property myself. I honestly believe that Cubitt & West Redhill are the worst estate agents in Britain.

Our records indicate that your property was being marketed on a Multiple Agency basis, which meant that several Estate Agents may have had access to your property. Part of the arrangement with us was that we were to regularly inspect the property and if any lights had been left on by any agent, we would turn them off during the inspection. If we had been made aware of any issue in this regard whilst we were still holding your keys, we would have attended the property and turned the lights off.
Your request for meter readings to be taken was received when we no longer held keys to the property and we were therefore unable to facilitate this. We did ask the new owner to provide these to us however regrettably they did not respond to our requests.
We are naturally disappointed to read your comments as we were successful in promptly arranging the sale of your property and all interaction was conducted via the corporate company instructed.
