Very professional response from everybody at Cubitt and West in what turned out to be an unexpectedly protracted sale/purchase. Particular thanks to Julie for her continuous liaison with all the parties involved and to Zoey and Samara for their initial efforts.

Reasons for choosing Cubitt & West Southsea

Having debated who to go with to sell my beloved family home following a close bereavement, I have chosen Andrew McGlaughlin and his team at the Southsea branch. I feel confident that he will find not only good buyer for my home in Portchester, but that his experience will help find us a new family home in Southsea. At a time of enormous sadness, he is a safe, confident pair of hands that will help manage the most important next stage of our lives.

I found the whole experience of selling my mums flat a bit stressful - Julie Bramble was always really good - always ready to help and always cheerful. Julie also answered e:mails really quickly.

We recently pout in an offer on a house which was being sold through Cubbit and West. It was a complicated experience due to the Vendor's inability to find a house to move to but the estate agent we dealt with, Claire, was amazing. She was supportive and tried her best to help us to complete the chain and enable the move to take place. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and patience. Highly recommendedPositiveProfessionalism

SOUTHSEA branch. Maddison and Claire have been extremely professional and communicative throughout the process which made selling my house a lot less stressful and complicated. Everthing has been clear and honest and I would definitely recommend using them to anyone!

She helped me rent out my property quickly even through a couple of non-starts and kept me informed the whole time. Thoroughly recommend and will have no hesitation in using them again. Cubitt and West- highly recommend!!

When deciding to buy and sell our property, I wish I had done my research about estate agents sooner. My naivety in the process lead me to make uninformed and rushed decisions making me feel incredibly stressed and anxious and ready to pull off the market all together. Zoey McGovern from Cubitt and West turned that all around. When I met her she explained everything to me in terms I understood and at my pace. She was realistic and honest with me from the start and although their fees were higher than other agents I was dealing with, her enthusiasm for selling my property felt right. Signing her as my agent was the best decision I made as she made a substantial gain in the selling price of my property. She even said to me “I’m pleased to see you so much more relaxed.” I felt valued as a person rather than just another client on the books. What started as an awful experience with other estate agents became a successful and enjoyable one. You really do get what you pay for. I absolutely recommend working with Zoey McGovern.

Thomas is a star!

As an estate agent they are pretty standard. Usual sales patter etc, usual mgmt fee rates etc. When I first started renting my place through them I had to do a bit of chasing (three month inspection) etc

Excellent Service

We received excellent service, particularly from Maddison, Emily and Amelia.Right from the initial valuation visit by Maddison everyone made a huge effort to make my Aged Mother feel very comfortable about selling her house that she had lived in for about 60 years. The viewings were managed extremely well by Amelia and Emily, with due respect shown to my Mother every step of the way.The house was sold with 10 days of the initial valuation - super service and efficiency.I would highly recommend the team at Southsea and will use them again.

Amazing professional photos

The photographer Chris from Redhill branch arrived on time for our appointment for photos, floor plans and virtual tour of our house and then proceeded to arrange and stage every room with incredible attention to detail and obvious pride in the job. He’s a credit to the company and deserves recognition
