I had a very unpleasant experience with…

I had a very unpleasant experience with the senior sales representative, Roanna Tyson (SM2).Despite reaching out for clarification on a few questions before potentially making an offer on an $700K house, her attitude was extremely disrespectful and made me feel unwelcome. Even though English isn't my first language, I believe that doesn't justify being treated poorly. It's disheartening to receive such treatment, If she didn't know the answers or didn't want to assist, a polite response redirecting me to another resource would have been appreciated. Her dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism left me feeling frustrated.This is exactly what she says ‘just let me know whether you put offer or not, we have received four offers already, so don't waste my time, your questions is back and forth” my questions only took her like 5-10 mins regarding some walls and structural issues around the house. I'm truly taken aback by the poor quality of customer service from this country's sales representatives. Dealing with such a disrespectful individual is incredibly disheartening. If Roanna Tyson harbors any biases against foreigners, I would much prefer she refrains from contacting me altogether. I'm not here to endure disrespectful treatment; I simply want to purchase a house. If she's unwilling to assist me respectfully, then I see no reason for her to contact me at all.

Moving to Woodingdean

A huge 'Thank You' to Steve, Sarah and Barbara @ Cubitt & West Woodingdean branch for our move down to the coast. Faultless throughout the process of the purchase side of the exchange which they were only were involved in throughout. There was a frustrating delay finalising the exchange and moved out of old house on morning of moving day and after driving to Woodingdean with usual solicitor issues we couldn't officially have the keys for another hour or so, but Barbara was lovely offering a hot cuppa to keep us going, who was also enjoyable to be with showing us other houses throughout our search until we found the one for us! Easy comms and pleasant to deal with throughout

Woodingdean sale

We sold our house in Woodingdean in December '23 and Steve Clamp and Sarah Haskell and team were very helpful. Things slowed down a little bit once it moved to the Sales progressor but we got there and the buyers were able to move in by Christmas so we kept to our timeline. We felt that we were given good advice throughout and dealing with Cubitt & West was easy and pleasant, so much so that we have already recommended them to neighbours.

This is solely based on Steve (not the new manager) and Sarah who have been awesome from start to finish. I had a tricky sale which went on for months and it nearly all fell though. Everything went ahead but the new manager who I’ve never met who took over from the original Steve turned up to my house while I’m moving out and had the audacity to tell me I’m breaching the contract and needed to be out the property in 5 mins! I was taken aback by how rude he was so based on this I’ll give Sarah and the original Steve who has now left the 5*. Rating but after meeting the new manager I can only say good luck to the people who have to work with him because Hes not a nice person and unfortunately I will not be using cubbit and west for my next sale due to this new manager he shown his true colours AVIOD!

What a great service!

After buying our flat, the letting team at Cubitt & West (especially Ciaran Street), went out of their way to help us get everything ready and then find the right tenants for us quickly and with no fuss. They were more than happy to answer all our questions (and there were many) and worked with us to make the whole experience so much easier, especially as we are not in the country. Amazing service

Amazing service, they dealt with the sale of my main property which achieved well over the asking price. They also dealt with some hiccups at the first buyers end and simply replaced with a new buyer at the same sale price. They are currently dealing with the sale of my rental flat in a difficult market and continuing to bring viewers in at a tricky time of year. If that wasn’t enough they also managed to find me a new home in the road I wanted to be in and the condition I was seeking. Suffice to say I am super impressed with the efficiency, tenacity and ease of service from Eloise, Alice, Jess and the team and I would not hesitate to recommend them for your sale or purchase. Great letting agent ! (Daniel)

From the very beginning of meeting our agent Daniel, we received a very warm welcome. He was very kind to us during the house viewing, we felt very comfortable in asking him any questions that we had. He also gave us our own time to view the house which I thought was really nice as it allowed us to take in the moment with our “future home”. Daniel was also very responsive with any form of contact whether this was a telephone call or an email. This was very helpful for us during the whole process as we knew he was an email away. He also made sure to keep updating us with the process from the landlord to the referencing company. This was very good experience for us!
