It is my first time renting out my house and I have been incredibly impressed with the team at MG in E Finchley. Sophie was immediately on the front foot and talked me carefully through the whole process and answered any questions I had. I do not believe any positive feedback here. We communicated with this team for a year and a half and had only very negative impressions. They don't tell all the information to the client and cheated us out of more than £500 from the start, forcing us to take the keys when the apartment was not ready to move in. We were able to move in only after two weeks when they did the necessary repairs. They do not respond to letters and calls and have to write 3-4 requests until they give a completely unprofessional answer. We asked for a change of agent as Sophie was extremely incompetent, but it just got worse. I do not recommend anyone to contact this agency. They despise their customers.

Extremely Distressing and Unacceptable Experience I had an extremely distressing experience with Martyn Gerrard. On 24th December, he was asked to pay a £507 deposit and was clearly informed that my moving date was confirmed for 9th January. He was also told that the referencing process would be very simple. Based on this assurance, I gave notice to my current landlord. Despite fully cooperating with the referencing process and providing all requested documents, bank screenshots, videos, employer confirmations, and company documents, the agency continuously delayed and gave false reassurance. From 5th January onward, I was told every day that confirmation would be provided “tomorrow,” which never happened. On 8th January, I urgently asked them to either confirm the tenancy or clearly state that the property would not be given to me so I could protect my housing situation. They failed to do so, leaving me at serious risk of being forced out of my home on 9th January with no alternative accommodation. This situation caused severe stress and anxiety for me and my family. Even more concerning, despite their failure to provide the property or proper confirmation, my £507 deposit has still not been returned. This behavior is highly unprofessional, irresponsible, and unacceptable. I feel completely misled and treated unfairly. I strongly advise others to be very cautious before dealing with this company.

When we made small requests, they didn't try to accommodate them or find a way to make it work on a couple of occasions. And then there was a slight delay of the key handover that added unnecessary stress on our moving day.
