They make money out of everything!

They made a large deduction from my deposit at the end of tenancy. I was a very considerate tenant and left the property in a good condition. I paid a cleaner who cleaned the property to reasonable standard. But they insisted that it needed thorough professional cleaning again and their cleaners charge extortionately! No consideration in lowering the deductions. Surely their so called independent check out agents have a commission in it. This agency charges a lot on move-in and then deducts from your deposit when you move out! Utter shame and a big dissappointment!

The rudest agency/agent I have ever had…

The rudest agency/agent I have ever had to deal with. I was looking for a property to buy for myself, and mind you these are higher tiered properties so I would have thought that the staff would at least be professional. I went to one viewing which went alright and a second viewing was scheduled. I let the agent know I couldn’t make it due to a work meeting, I told them well in advance (the night before even) which I deem is sufficient time to have a cancellation. The agent tried to reschedule the second viewing again a month later so we agreed on meeting on a Saturday again, I was on my way there but got caught in traffic due to a road closure, I told the agent I would try my best to make it but then after 20 minutes waiting at the closure I knew I couldn’t so I let him know accordingly. I was very apologetic and courteous but what I received back was one of the most rudest responses I have ever received from an agent or from anyone in a professional context, he told me that my conduct was poor (his words verbatim) due to this being my second cancellation and then proceeded to berate me that I had disrupted his schedule on his day off. I did apologize to him but in all honesty, 1) as an agent you should be able to anticipate that things come up, 2) I was not in control of the road closure, so there was nothing I could do about it, 3) it’s extremely unprofessional, in poor taste, discourteous and quite frankly insulting to tell a client that they have poor conduct when there is nothing they can do about their situation, 4) how was I supposed to know that it was his day off? If it’s not a day you’re working, then don’t schedule the viewing on that day, as far as I’m concerned if you schedule it on a Saturday, I will assume that you work on Saturdays. Safe to say I am going to another agency, if the service is like this for higher tiered properties I can only imagine what it’s like for lower tiers. I’m just glad I didn’t sign anything or have any money involved.

I cannot recommend Caroline Kennaway and the nightingale team highly enough. They were straightforward, pragmatic and reassuringly hand held us through the entire sale - even when things got challenging with lawyers. Wouldn’t think twice about using them again!

I had a great experience with Aliya

I had a great experience with Aliya, Savills Upper street, who was in charge of maintenance and coordination during our tenancy. Aliya was very responsive and did a great job in coordinating the relationship between us and the landlord.

Savills team - Great customer service

Although the whole team is very responsive and helpful, Sam Ing goes above and beyond. He acts quickly with genuine care to sort out any issues that arise with our rental property. Daisy Mills has also been very supportive and responsive by providing last minute confirmation of tenancy documentation, whenever I requested. Thank you to you both for making our rental experience enjoyable.

Adel Viragh-Zsupan

I believe Adel Viragh-Zsupan deserves recognition for going above and beyond what I could expect during my tenancy with savills. She has always came across to be both professional whilst also being warm and friendly. Adel Viragh-Zsupan always makes you feel that any inquiry is a priority to her and is dealt with quickly and competently. She is a credit to Savills and I would continue to recommend Savills based off my interactions with her.

Ask Savills what fees are payable for an upcoming auction as a purchaser and are told it's £1000 for properties above £20,000 and £250 for properties below £20,000. Absolutely fine, you know where you are.Instruct my solicitor to go through the legal pack. This is the point at which I've now spent money.Receive an update to the legal pack less than 2 business days before the auction that the fees in addition to the £1000 or £250 are now, £550 +VAT for searches, the sellers solicitors fees of £1500 +VAT and solicitors engrossement fee of £120 (inc VAT). They've also added on the auctioneers fees of 3% of the hammer price +VAT (minimum £1250 +VAT) and a catalogue entry price of £250 +VAT.All payable by the purchaser! Let us fcuking know before we spend money on solicitors going through the paperwork. Will not bother with this auction and will never bother with another Savills auction again.Thieves.

Very disappointing service from Savills Corbridge Branch.

Very disappointing service from the Corbridge branch. The contact each time to our point of contact was frosty. The singular most difficult aspect for us when we were trying to rent a property miles from where we live miles away was the reliance on the agent to communicate every nut and bolt before we made the decision to come 380 miles to view properties. My husband couldn’t come owing to work commitments-but this was NEVER relayed to us-and then I was told that it was a legal requirement. As it stands we have now rented a lovely property without this being an issue. We are old hands at renting from the perspective of being both landlord and tenant this has never been an issue. Whatever -we could have both come a bit later together but this was NOT communicated to us. It cost me 2 days of driving from Portsmouth (around 800 miles) and two nights in a hotel (£140.00). Frankly this is not acceptable or a good advert for your agency at all-and we would not recommend this branch for anyone else hoping for a positive experience with Savills, Corbridge.

Savills undertook to market our property, we could not have been more delighted with the service they provided. From the outset with Amy Hart then after with Sarah Jane Bingham- Chick they were at all times highly professional in guiding us through the process as well as being very understanding as it was a bereavement sale. We could not have wished for better and would highly recommend Savills.

Recently bought a flat in Tunbridge Wells

Recently bought a flat in Tunbridge Wells where Savills were the agent. Frankly, I was appauled by the attitude and pure arrogance of the staff dealing with the purchase. Throughout the process the deal was changing, and at times I was made to feel like I was wrong by asking for things that were clearly broken to be fixed....in a NEW BUILD property. Ridiculous comments like “you only really need one sundow in the bathroom to open” and “it’s ok if the floor moves a little”. The woman I was dealing with, called Catriona, was arrogant in her approach and I would never want to deal with her again. I bought the flat because I want to live here and saw potential, but the process of getting here was made to be an unpleasant one by a company that is meant to focus on selling the higher quality end of the market.....shame the service is at the lowest end. Unless you love the property you are trying to get, I would avoid working with Savills as it will be a miserable experience.

That's why the suicide rate is so high now....

I called to arrange an appointment on the 19/10/2018 see one of savills valuers from 9 High Street, St. Martins, Stamford, Lincolnshire, PE9 2LF , while on the phone I gave him the full address to make sure they covered my area he said they did , the appointment was made for the 24/10/2108 at 2pm, At 10am the day of the pre arranged appointment for 2pm I had a call from the most negative salesman I have ever spoke to, Before he had ever seen the house he was saying it might be difficult to sale because I was in a rural area then proceeded to tell me every negative angle about selling a house in a rural area and wanted to cancel the appointment because it "MIGHT" be difficult to sell it...!!This is from a house salesman...? I can only hope he does not have a part time job with the samaritans... ..? Maybe, that's why the suicide rate is so high now.... Well done for destroying what was a good brand in house selling ....just look at the other reviews....!Now, I have had the reply you see below, what would be the point of me emailing you and telling you what you already know from my review,You appear to have more than one bad review, with the , let's just say "more than downbeat" chat I had one of your members of staff about the slim chance of me selling my house (that he has not bothered to see) I think you need to look at arranging a meeting with some of your staff and changing their attitude, if not changing your staff before yet another long standing company disappears from the high street

Google

Paul and his team at Savills Ealing, provided swift and professional help, finding me two lovely new tenants in super quick time, which was critically important, as my mortgage offer for a new home for myself depended on it. I cannot thank them enough. They were friendly, uber responsive and human throughout. Top team, I would highly recommend to want potential tenant or landlord.

This agency are notorious in this area…

This agency I understand are notorious in this area for being extremely rude. So confident I see from the recent request my partner has made they put their personal opinions on paper. I would urge anyone that has any dealings with this company 'buying or selling' to raise a subject access request to find out what they really think of you. Check...they have they put your bid price across or did the decide not to because they don't like you 'classify you in their words "non proceedable"..ask for evidence'? How are they using your data/who are they giving it to? Carry out a secret shopper find put what they are telling potential buyers about your property 'it smells maybe'. Have they priced your property low because they don't want to sell it?!.. What profile have they set for you? We feel from experience that this will dictate how you are treated by all staff in one particular branch. We used new build sales team and found it challenging to buy a property which we found strange now we know why, if the buyer is being told we are relocating 'Battersea dogs home'. Hurtful and unforgivable remarks.

Savills really helped us with selling our unique listed building

Savills really helped us with thoughtful advice when we put the property on the market with them and showed it with enthusiasm. They managed to bring several ideal potential customers and we got a strong offer at the price we wanted. Throughout the lengthy legal process they kept the buyer engaged and enthused and right the way through to handing over the keys, they made sure it was as easy as possible for us as the seller.

Please do not use Savills for buying or selling, we have the worst experience ever, Savills are only after the commission and really have no interpersonal skills at all. Trying to sell a 1million plus house and buy through Savills a house of the same value you would think that an agent of so called high end property's might try a little harder. The house we were trying to buy was owned by a well known lady celb of which they completely messed up leaving us with a house sold and no where to go.

Use another agent - not Savills

I instructed Savills regarding the sale of my home and was extremely disappointed. In 4 months I honestly believe they made no effort to sell my home, I believe they were just waiting for the phone to ring. They only had 4 people view my home so I instructed another agent. This was an entirely different experience and after 2 months, many viewings and great customer service my house is under offer. In this market it is not acceptable to be arrogant, to have to be chased for feedback yet happily collect huge commissions.
