Selling house, no issue but after sale service non existent. Gibbs Gillespie, Uxbridge was uncommunicative, seldom returning phones calls and replying to emails and offered little to no assistance throughout the sale process. I was so frustrated that I went into the branch after over 6 months, still trying to get the sale through, whereupon I was advised that to get action I should contact both my buyer and their solicitors direct to speed the process along. And for this, I still had to pay nearly 1% to Gibbs for the privilege! Absolutely appalling service or lack of. Cannot recommend.

The purchase was a bit drawn-out due to a title query, but Heather remained proactive, responsive and helpful throughout the process, helping to push the solicitors and liaising directly with the sellers to keep things as efficiently as possible. Been a Landlord customer since 2004 - business has changed hands ownership over time and fees have gone up but service has drastically deteriorated. Slow (if any) responses - personnel changes - no access or interest from Directors when issues are escalated .. just constant apologies but little action. Service levels are at best "shocking"

Excellent from start to finish

There isn’t enough space here to convey how much I’ve appreciated Joe having my back over the course of the last 6 months. This was an emotional sale for us given that it involved the family home that I grew up in. It was preceded by my mother having a stroke and subsequently passing away. There was a point where I needed to apply the brakes due to being overwhelmed. Joe contacted anyone that needed to be informed (lifetime legal, the photographer etc). I didn’t have to respond to anyone or anything until I contacted him with the green light. The process can feel very much like marching through the legal steps required. This was so much more and I’m so grateful. Communication was consistently excellent and Gibbs Gillespie were totally up front and honest from day one. We had approached another local agent beforehand who had a vastly different approach so it was a relief to find them. Thank you once again Joe.

An appointment was made for Dominic Hanson to visit Croft House with a view to selling it.Dominic, who handled the sale of the house has been fantastic. Unprofessional, clueless and slow!

Do not sell your property with this branch / company! Over the 8 months it took them to 'sell' my property, I had to chase them, advise how to 'sell' a property and location to a potential client, repeatedly tell them not to enter my property without my permission, remind them to turn lights off and close main doors. Their understanding and knowledge of the English language was poor, they give you the big sell but there is no substance behind the words. They happily gave a set of keys to someone to the property without checking ID. Zero contact from them about the day of completion. Talking to them was like talking to a brick wall. All for the price of £8,000 absolute joke!

Total waste of time

Wasted my time this morning, booked a viewing for this morning, confirmed over email. Got a call from the agent this morning to confirm, but at a different time 30 mins earlier, which was fine. I then got a call 5 mins before to inform me he was running late, an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. I then went to the property knocked on the door and the occupier told me he was not informed of the viewing and the agent has not showed up. I cant call him back as he called from a private number, no answer from the office phone. Total waste of my Saturday morning, I am shocked at the poor level of service and lack of regard for my time, I've never experienced this from an agent. By contrast when I viewed a property with Cameron agents, the person organising the viewing messaged me on Whatsapp and was available to take calls and messages.
