Honestly, out of all the agents we have met recently Devon knew the properties inside and out, had taken note of our requirements in showing us relevant properties, and he knew the local area which also helped tremendously. My experience with Dexters has been pleasant. Ever S nice Jada had taken over the management responsibilities of my property, all issues were being addressed with utmost care and promptly. She is on the ground the moment we raise an issue or concern in relation to property. She has taken the effort to personally visit and inspect the issue and bring it to a resolution in no matter of time. Jadasa was a tremendous, conscientious, and thorough resource for my wife and I as we settled into our flat managed by Dexters. The property was not in an ideal condition after the prior tenants' departure and required a lot of attention to bring things up to par. Jadasa masterfully managed the process, tactfully engaging both the owners and contractors to complete the various tasks in the most time efficient manner possible. Moving is always a gut wrenching experience but Jadasa helped ease many of the difficulties we encountered along the way. Great property management team

My family and I have several properties rented out by Dexters for a number of years now. I also have properties with different management agents and can honestly say they have been one of the best. Special thanks to Natasha Benedik for all she has done for me over the years, and the rest of her team including Lydia Beesley, Rachel Sapurco and John Miller - very proactive in getting new tenants in, quick to reply to emails and help sort out flat maintenance. Dexters - Chris McCandlish - Outstanding Property Manager

We live in Australia and Dexters have been our managing agents since 1999. Our principal contact in the firm changed to Chris McCandlish, the Head of Property Management and I have nothing but praise for his work on our behalf. So much so in fact that, only half jokingly, I told him that if he ever fancied a move 'down under', I'd definitely employ him. He's frank in his advice, active in finding the right solutions for you and rigorous in execution. Given the distance between us and the limitations imposed by the time difference, communication is all important. Chris has again set a very high bar, he's even called me a couple of times when its either been very early or very late in the UK. In summary, I can't recall a better property manager that I've dealt with, here or in the UK, in over 24 years. Chris is outstanding and I unreservedly recommend his services. If he ever left Dexter's I'd go with him.

My experience with Dexters has been great. Since I moved in to a property, whenever I have a maintenance issue, Donalina Gargrupe/Property Manager is absolutely lovely and helpful. Most recently I had a boiler issue and Dona has been very helpful and diligent, since she got my first e-mail reporting the issue. She e-mailed and called me many times to keep me updated and kept in contact with the vendor until it was all sorted. So, a BIG thank you!

Christian Pengelly is the best ever

I am dealing with Dexters for 5 years now, and I was not happy with them like I am now because Christian Pengelly is the head of property management. He is the best property manager I have ever dealt with. He is keen to solve every problem/ concern in the quickest time he can. He even sends the required emails during the call which I explain the problem in it. If I have the choice, Christian is the manager who I hope deal with him always, not anyone else.

Can't thank Myra enough...

I have had a great experience with Dexters as my property management company, but I want to give a special mention to my property management consultant, Myra Mettam. I have been letting my property for nearly 5 years, and Myra has been my continued support during the time at my flat. Myra is fast acting, efficient, empathetic and a total delight to liaise with. Every time I have had an issue at my property (and there have been many as it is an old building: faulty boiler, blocked toilet, shower not working etc). Myra has been on hand to find a very quick solution, she really is a magic maker and I couldn't ask for more from her. Myra also often exceeds my expectations with her quick turnaround times and she is an excellent communicator. The Dexter's leadership team should feel very lucky to have her!

Natasha and her team contributed to a positive experience

Overall positive experience of using Dexters. Natasha and her team have been very good in managing the property.I have deducted 1-star due to inconsistencies between letting teams - One office forced us (renters) to pay 1 months worth of early-termination fees on the contract despite the rent going up considerably. I understand this is well within their rights but with another office I (Landlord) was told that Dexters would waive the fees for my outgoing tenant who was leaving with 1 month left on the contract so felt slightly cheated!

If I could rate Christian P individually, then I would give him 5*, and if I could rate Dexters as a whole it'd be 1*, so 3* seems about fair. Christian has been fantastic since he took over management of our property, and I hope this review gets him recognition for his fantastic response time and subsequent care and attention to all of the issues we've had. If everyone at Dexters was like him then this would be a hands down 5* review. Sadly I can only rate 3*, as Dexters in the past have lied, manipulated, and patronised us at every turn. I don't wish to dwell on this since that's not why I'm writing this review, so I'll finish with the positive that things are SO much better now that Christian is involved, and if things continue like this then perhaps my overall outlook of Dexters as a company might slowly begin to change.

Despite a few initial issues at the beginning of the tenancy, I must commend the excellent property management service throughout my tenancy and the smooth move-out process. I want to express my appreciation to Nabeel Khan, the Senior Property Manager, for his exceptional service. He promptly addressed any concerns I had during the tenancy and efficiently resolved them. The deposit return process and the check-out inspection were also smooth. I have heard stories of estate agents making unreasonable amount of deposit reduction, but I'm pleased to say that Dexters is not one of them. Nabeel was really helpful in facilitating communication between me and the landlord, and it felt like he truly cared about resolving matters, not just in favor of the landlord or his company.

Very happy with the end to end service supplied by Anthony Barnes at Dexters. Great communication, and considerate of our time, where I never felt out of the loop on the status or progress. Anthony listened to our requirements and didn’t waste our time in our property search/viewings, something I’ve found rarely to be the case with estate agents. Be careful with the break clause! I had a horrible experience with this agency. It was the first time I rented an apartment in the UK, and I didn't know that a contract might be made so badly for a client. I chose a flat that cost 1700£ per month, and they only agreed to a 18-month lease. Even after we agreed, my agent called back a couple of days later and asked if we could add one more month because 18 months was not convenient for the landlord. For some reason, I agreed. My agent was Wassim Kechroud. I asked him if it was possible for me to leave the apartment early, for example, in 10 months. He said yes, but I would need to pay 11% for each remaining month. That's not too bad, but the contract they made for me was very inconvenient. I could only leave if the landlord agreed. The agent didn't mention it. After 8 months, I said that I wanted to leave in 2 months. They replied that they would ask the landlord's permission. I waited a month to get this permission, and finally, the landlord said no. There was already another agent - Anthony Barnes, and he said that I couldn't do anything about it and that I had to live there for the rest of the term. But luckily, I looked at my contract again and was amazed to see that they had made a mistake. In the end date of the tenancy, instead of 2023, they wrote 2022, which meant that the contract had already expired. I was able to leave the apartment as I wished and was happy that I wouldn't have to communicate with these people again.

A total cowboy outfit. I offered on a property which was accepted only to be told 2 days later they had a better off so unless i offered my best and final it will go to the new person.
