For me and my partner, English is the second language. In addition, we had no idea about the property market in the UK and how the purchase of real estate in this country looks like. Therefore, our priority was to find someone who would not only treat us as another client to earn money, but would have a professional, individualized approach to the client. Someone who takes into account our not entirely perfect knowledge of the language, but also our complete lack of knowledge in applying for a mortgage. We came to Priscilla by accident, with no recommendation. We just entered practically from the street. One of the best thing that could happened to us. Priscilla explained every detail step by step, without specialized vocabulary, which would probably be secret to us even in our native language (well, not everyone is a financier or an economist :-) ). What's more, we were applying for a mortgage in a hard lockdown time. It wasn't a good moment to easily get a mortgage, yet Priscilla done it!!! I recommend Priscilla with a clear conscience to anyone applying for a mortgage and I am sure that if I ever need anything related to finances, I will ask her for help. Kelly and James were outstanding in their support and dedication to completing the sale of our flats in Ealing. The process was a real up and downer because intending buyers pulled out (no fault of BM!), new buyers emerged only to drop out, and so it went on. But Kelly and James were a real source of strength and optimism throughout and never appeared discouraged even when we were. As first time buyers we had a very challenging buying process due to seller land title issues that caused a major delay. It took us over a year from offer being accepted to completion. We were deeply unsatisfied with BM ex-sales progressors, who was a disastrous communicator. During one of the calls when we questioned about the delay and the lack of response from them, she said and I quote "the developer (seller) is our client not you so there is only so much I can push them and I don't want to offend them". That was shockingly rude, unprofessional and definitely unacceptable! Anyways, after she left, we were glad that Kelly took over. Kelly and Alex (BM mortgage service manager) have been amazing throughout the process. They always made sure that things were in place and we were updated with the progress. Despite our horrendous experience with one of their ex-staff, we would like to believe that it was only individual problem and we only have good words to say about Kelly, Alex and Manny. So we would still recommend others to buy through Barnard Marcus.

Priscilla was a very professional mortgage advisor/broker, she was kind, patient and responsive. Worst experience with Alex cumin. Not capable of getting you an offer if your case needs an extra attention. There are thousands of mortgage advisors will do your work more professionally. Alex can only handle straight forward cases. Moreover he goes for long annual holidays where they do not even have a back up who can update on your case, so all you do is wait for him to return. He will be charging you the fees £150 and gives nothing in return. I had my personal mortgage advisor, doesn’t charge me any thing, he got me an offer in 20 days which Alex couldn’t do in months, and I lost the deal because of his useless efforts. He did try to get me the mortgage but that effort was not sufficient, I had an offer accepted through him but due to poor communication and delayed responses to the lender because of his long annual holidays, the lender cancelled the application and agent gave the deal to some other buyer. I did get an offer in 20 days afterwards from my advisor but by the time I lost the deal. Shame on his response…wasted my months on chasing him and get nothing. Paid his fees, solicitor fees and twice for the valuation. All gone wasted. Please find someone better. Thanks

We recently completed our first house purchase and have spoken with a number of mortgage advisors in the process, but finally trusted Aysha Ahmad to assist us and this was the best decision ever. As stressful as the whole process is, Aysha took care of the mortgage aspect in a way that we practically didn’t even have to think about it. Everything was taken care of and the only thing we had to do is sign the mortgage agreement. The best thing about working with Aysha, and I cannot stress this enough, is RESPONSIVENESS. If you have ever gone through this process you will understand the importance of that and if you are only just starting this is the part you should pay most attention to. Aysha was always available for us whenever we, or the solicitors needed to discuss something and this is key to a stress free process. Will has been the most amazing estate agent that I could have ever asked for. But I would be lying if I said that that is all he has been. Will has been a chauffeur for many a house viewings, a designer helping me envision the property for myself but most of all a friend through the ups and downs of the house buying process. We worked together for a year before I purchased my dream first home and it’s all thanks to Will. He was there when my first purchase fell through and gave it his all for my second one. He worked harder than anyone on the team and I can truly say is the best estate agent out there. And I would know, I came across 20 of them!
