After buying and selling several houses in the Hythe area over the years with Jonathan Mapp involved on one side or the other when it came to selling our current home my wife and I knew that we wanted to engage him. This was not a sentimental choice but one based on his knowledge, accessibility, integrity and passion. Within 48 hours our house was sold at the asking price. We then found despite lots of research to find a new house that fulfilled our extensive list of requirements we were not making progress. Jonathan called and urged us to view a property that we had previously discarded online. Trusting Jonathan we went along. We are due to move in next week. Throughout the process Jonathan has kept us up to date and informed, nothing has been too much trouble for him. We would totally recommend Mapp’s they offer the personal touch throughout often lost in the estate agency market.

Jonathan was recommended by a family member who had had previous dealings with him and knew of his increasing reputation as a trustworthy, friendly and professional estate agent. We were also aware of the great service that he had provided to friends of that family member. We needed someone to help us to sell my in laws' house as they were moving into a small flat. Jonathan dealt with all aspects of the sale with kindness, courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. He is the type of estate agent that one hopes to find but rarely does. At all times we were kept in touch with progress and how the chain was progressing. If we need the services of an estate agent in the future we would have no hesitation in returning to Mapps Estates. A small, local business with low fees and great service who is totally deserving of your support. If you've had poor experiences with estate agents then Jonathan is the one to change your opinion on them. He was incredibly hard working, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, compassionate and kind. From the first phone call to ask Jonathan to come round and tell me what I needed to do to sell my home, to the last to say we had completed John and Jonathan could not have done more to get the property sold. I was treated with respect and kindness. Unfortunately for me my sale fell through twice before I got my final buyer.
