Very unprofessional

Very unprofessional, told us our offer was agreed and vendor was happy and property would have no more viewings and then suddenly they said they had a higher offer. Depends who you speak to, some staff seem very inexperienced. Must be one of the only estate agents who allow viewings once an offer has been accepted. However when I went to buy a property they wouldn't let me view as they said the offer had been accepted, so contradicting themselves, even when I tried to explain this, no apology just said this was usual practise!!!

A 5 star rating for a 5 star service at Pattinson South Shields. Keith, Branch Manager, Lucy Mouter, Senior Sales Negotiator and Emily are highly professional, knowledgeable and caring, all of which are essential traits when dealing with customers who are selling and buying their homes. Lucy is incredibly approachable and even though I was selling and buying throughout the lockdown period, we kept in regular contact via phone and email with Lucy always taking the time to provide regular progress updates at every stage of the process. I was referred to Mark Hewison, Three Rivers Financial Services for mortgage advice, again he was highly professional and took the stress out of applying for a new mortgage, I would highly recommend using this company for financial advice. Seller beware! Can't sell if people can't view

I'm a prospective cash buyer trying to arrange viewings on 2 properties up for sale with Pattinson's. They promised a call back last week to sort out some viewings but never did. When I called back today for an update, the person trying to transfer my call didn't realise that I could hear what was being said - the person on the other end couldn't be bothered to take the call and argued loudly with the first person - I could hear it all!! And when she told me she was "having difficultly transferring" so the other person would phone me back directly, what a surprise - still no call back hours later! So unprofessional. So what sort of service are they actually providing to sellers? It's not surprising to me now that the properties have been on the market for many months unsold - not just market conditions with that sort of response.In this case, I guess it's a case of SELLER beware rather than buyer beware!

What a waste of time.

What a waste of time.I had an agreement with them to pay a tenancy upfront , then they said it would be better to pay monthly as long as I had a guarantor. So after going through the whole referencing process and obtaining a garantor .They went back on their word and asked for the full tenancy which after the agreement of monthly payments .I was not happy about this as I like to be a man of my word and after eventually agreeing as I had no other choice , was still refused .Wether down to the agents or landlord , my experience was unprofessional and untrustworthy .

BEWARE of this agency!!!

BEWARE of this agency!!!BEWARE of this agency, the Low Fell branch. I have been asked by them to vacate with a story that the landlord want to move in and now I can see the property in Curzon place is in the market! They will make bogus claims for damage that hasn't been done by you. They have handed over an extremely dirty apartment during move in and will make you to do deep clean while you are leaving. The agency makes no effort to remedy any issues you are having as a tenant and they are totally careless and not invested in their job. Not only will they hand in a filthy apartment on your move in day, they also didn't have right keys for the property, leaving me for days without access to the parking, they took 5 months to repair the broken window which was there from day 1 in the apartment and also only after being served a notice by Gateshead council. Extremely dishonest agency.

BEWARE of this agency, the South Shields branch and the landlord at Sea Winnings Way. They will make bogus claims for damage that hasnt been done by you, and ask for deep cleaning of the carpet -that hasnt been deep cleaned in years but had no further damage done by yourself. the agency makes no effort to remedy any issues you are having as a tenant and they are totally careless and not invested in their job. Not only will they hand in a filthy apartment on your move in day, they also didnt have right keys for the property, leaving me for days without access to the bin store and me having to have to go to the neighbours to ask for their spare key, then they've tried to charge me for when I've asked for main door keys, they took weeks to fix leaking tap and that was fixed incorrectly as the landlord is always using the cheapest option and probably not even licensed plumbers. And I could go on. HORRIBLE AGENCY and this branch in particular.

Well what can I say!!

Well what can I say!!! From the minute I spoke to Lyndsay Greenwell at the Whickham office I knew the sale of my house was in good hands. I rang on the Tuesday evening and Ian came out next door and took photos and did a video tour. He explained the process and away he went. Lyndsay took a key so they could do the viewings which was a huge help to me with work commitments etc. The house sold in just over a week with Lyndsay keeping in with the loop every step of the way with viewings and feedback. I really can't recommend Pattinsons and the Whickham office enough. If I could give more than 5 stars then I would. Thank you so much for making our 1st selling experience so so easy.

Get anything important verbally conveyed in writing.

I am an experienced property investor. I understand buying property under auction conditions. I was told 'Everything you see in the pictures will remain in the property' by the Wallsend branch manager (Alia). Surprise surprise, first visit revealed many items were missing, including a TV. On being challenged Alia produced the most premeditated, 'didn't matter what I said you bought under auction conditions' response. It is obviously not the first time she has trotted out this line. Deceitful, slimy behaviour. Do not take anything verbally on face value. If they won't put it in writing, it is a lie.
