GoogleAbsolutely furious this morning, waking up to a phone call from my partner at 9am saying Janet has given away our viewing slot at 10:30am because he couldn’t answer the phone at 8am, because he was at work!! He works overnights and doesn’t finish till 9am. Will not recommend and will definitely not view another house with them, they are meant to be helping us which should mean catering to the times we are available, today we are available from 9am that’s why I booked the viewing at 10:30am not 8am! So unprofessional.
Good afternoon. In response to your review, we arranged 2 different appointments for you, on different days, you did not attend either of them, nor did we receive a call for either one to cancel or re-arrange the time. We contacted you both occasions just prior to the viewings to be told you could not attend. If you would like to view and have a specific time available you are able to meet at the property, please contact the office to arrange, as with all arranged viewings we will attend once confirmed.

GoogleJanet to the rescue! We had been in touch with several estate agents in Durham, and to be frank had been less than impressed by the level of service. One agent kept us waiting outside a property for 40 minutes, another sent us details that did not match our criteria, and a third was tardy in answering emails. However, Janet Wilson rescued Durham. House hunting became a pleasure She provided a mix of local expertise, sensed what appealed to us, and with her wonderfully sunny disposition provided an Elite service. It was rather sad for us that we eventually purchased a property through another agent and not her. I recommend her without reserve and would put business her way regardless of who she worked for. Their approach to selling our house was faultless from the get go with a marketing plan, brochures and excellent photographs which really brought our house to the market. Janet’s enthusiasm and market knowledge was peerless and her engagement in showing our house to potential buyers was excellent. GoogleJanet and Alan took over as rental agents after a frustrating experience elsewhere and were efficient in both finding and managing tenants. They were also highly competent in handling the sale process. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

GoogleAgent pushed for money to be paid in full £2095.00 but did not get contract signed by home owner, subsequently the home owner changed their mind at the last minute and contacted us via text message on a bank holiday Sunday 5 days before we were due to move in. We had to be out of our current property and were left with nowhere to go, we had to pay a fortune for our furniture to be put into storage and were left with the option of splitting our family up and sleeping on various relatives sofas. Thanks Elite
Unfortunately the owner withdrawing the property at the last minute was totally out of our hands, we did everything we could to let the property to you. The funds you paid were returned in full within one working day. This was a very rare incident and I apologise on behalf of the owner.

GoogleOverall Elite Estates and Lettings were very professional and efficient in arranging viewing and informing about the property, and more so in the process of reference checking and contract signing. The staff was pleasant to communicate with. A small glitch would be that it took them several days to respond in certain cases, even to urgent inquiries. However, I would gladly choose them as letting agents again. Update 2022. I've used their contract renewal services for the past 3 years. They have been very efficient. Respond within a day. Contracts ready in a few days. Very fast service and pleasant to communicate with.

GoogleI had considered selling some time ago and Janet came out to see me then. She provided a valuation and there was no pressure at all to place the property on the market. Some time passed and given the contact I had initially I had no hesitation in asking Janet to come back and place my house on the market. Her and Alan have been professional throughout. Janet organised some viewings pretty much straight away and it was from one of those viewings that the interested party went on to buy the house. Janet's manner and service is always first class, she looked after me all the way and I would not hesitate recommending Elite if you have a property to sell. Thanks so much.
