From start to finish they have been very welcoming & always available to talk to.. ReedsRains, were the agents through whom I originally purchased my home in Durham two decades ago. The support and guidance provided at this time was invaluable to me as a first time buyer. Following my move to the south coast of England ten years ago ReedsRains found me a tenant for my Durham house, guided me through the rental process and managed the tenancy on my behalf. Throughout all of this time I cannot fault the guidance and support that I continue to receive from the manager and staff in the Durham City office. I am now in the process of selling my house and, once again, I cannot praise, enough, the advice and support that I am receiving from Tony Hunter and his team. Staff are accessible and can be relied on to get back if not immediately available.

I found them extremely hélpful and patient. For me being a bit of a donderhead when it comes to the way things are all online today. I am very much old school and really do not like the new technology. However they were very willing to help me get my tenancy sorted and they were all polite and friendly. Definitely a company I would recommend should be looking for a good landlord and good property. With so many sharks in pond it is very nice to meet a genuinely well caring staff.

The team were incredibly helpful and were so kind whenever I was stressed or upset. They were always happy to talk, responded to my enquiries quickly and couldn't do enough. I've lost count how many times Tony has made me feel better when i have called in tears, after receiving not so positive news re the process. Debbie showed us around the initial property we were interested in and couldn't help enough. And poor Charlene has been inundated with my emails, but was always happy to help. They are a great team !

They have been prompt in getting back to me with calls and emails and despite living abroad the process has been pretty smooth sailing. They have went the extra mile helping me out with gathering my mail and doing my meter readings, which they simply didn't have to but helped me out immensely, given my situation. I've found them professional and helpful, which was a godsend following a poor experience I had at another big chain agent in Durham. I really cannot thank the team at Reeds Rains (Durham) enough for their help, support, care and understanding in recent months! In particular Sarah Maddison, for calling me back when a property I'd previously applied for became available again (that couple of minutes on the phone, honestly, was like 6-months' worth of stress, great uncertainty, just awfulness in general 😅 being lifted off my shoulders!), then looking after my tenancy application/referencing/everything involved from start to finish, making me feel reassured and at ease as much as possible through that process. Warm, patient, clear in communication, a good listener, I really couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much again Sarah! 😊 Each and every time I have called the Durham office thus far, the service received has been excellent - and I must thank Gemma (Wayman) for also being very kind, helpful and sympathetic when speaking with me in the earlier weeks and months of my property search this summer/autumn, remembering me when I rang back up after a gap of several weeks (these things mean a lot! 🙂) as well as Charlene, Jen and Tony (with apologies for any mis-spelt names!) for all their assistance recently - very much appreciated! 👍🏻
