I thought from the brand and look this estate would be much more professional than how I was treated. I was enquiring on some houses to buy and when I arranged one to view which I liked, I was rushed to be in there for 2 minutes, making bad taste comments about taking pictures ( how else would you remember what you visited if you view about 10+ houses?) and then rushing to another location which had no good public transport connection and very far away from the centre. Even after this, they called to trying to sell me their "mortgagte and find house package" which requested me to come in to say I need X beds and my budget is Y. Just pointless waste of time for people who are busy! Just avoid at any costs, and just keep in mind the person doesnt know much about the house that shows you, I got more info from a lady outside in the street.

As a first time buyer I was very optimistic but nervous as it was a new journey for me. Rick was brilliant at explaining my opportunities. The viewing with George was reassuring and professional. Throughout the process it was exciting, very long winded and stressful but Lee Clarke was very reassuring; also very honest. If I had problems or any queries he tried to answer them as honest and professional as possible. Although he continued to push things and chase the process. From the first meeting with the agent to the sale of the house was just a matter of 2 weeks. Everything was handled by Connells and I was kept constantly informed of viewings and feedback, being 850 miles away from the property this was essential. The conveyancing however took 35 weeks, and during that time I have to make special mention of Lee Clark, who went above and beyond in helping me to drag my solicitors to completion. Absolutely disgusting customer service from Estella and the manager in this Dunstable Connells. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional individuals with extremely poor communication skills. These two cowboys were extremely blunt and rude to me and made my blood boil so I spoke to them how they were deserved to be spoken to. I put them back into their little place. Absolutely disgusting, rude & racist.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Barrett from Connells Estate Agents in Dunstable. I was interested in a 3 to 4 bedroom house to rent but initially struggled alot and was let down by other local agents. After turning to Daniel, I realised that he as well as Connells operated in an entirely different and more professional way. He had plenty of stock to show me but knowing my needs he went out of his way to secure a house that was perfect for me and importantly ensured that the landlord maintained their contractual obligations to me way after the contract had been signed-great aftersales service! I was very well looked after and would highly recommend Daniel as well as Connells Estate Agents in general.

Book a viewing. Show up. Wait 90 minutes, trying to contact the agents. Did I get the wrong time? No response. Get through eventually - they hadn't recorded the viewing on their calendar. No apology. Take more time off work the following week. Show up. The agent appears - he forgot the key and I have to rebook. At least the agent was nice, despite the circumstances. Take more time off the following week. Show up. The viewing was cancelled - nobody had bothered to tell me. The agent I spoke to said he tried to call me but I have no missed calls - blatant dishonesty and disrespect. Not once was I given an apology, or a reason for the appalling treatment.
