GoogleOne of the worst estate agents out there. Sold me a property clearly sold as 'Freehold'. Only once I was around £2.5k in with fee's, solicitor costs, searches and surveys did i then get told it was actually a share of freehold properly. and came with extra costs. Way past the date to pull out and was to invested in (turns out they held this vital info back deliberately)..... When you talk to them they just try and wriggle out - to this day didnt get a formal apology. Wouldn't buy a house through them again - ALL BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

The property is `Freehold` as described and shown. You had the copy of the title plan with the sales memorandum at the outset of the purchase(before any costs incurred). The sales progression team explained to you about the grounds charge as the property is a cluster home. At the point of exchange you tried to renegotiate the purchase price which the owner declined. You decided to exchange. The team here never put any pressure on you to proceed with the purchase and you could have withdrawn at any point. FacebookIf I could give 0 stars I would. We sold our house through Alexander as a house we wanted was for sale with them so felt it was easier. Everything was fine at the beginning but once it was on the market and we had like 3 viewings, there was no interest in selling it. One person viewed ours and wanted it but had to sell their house still but to Alexander that meant 'someone wants it, let's not bother anymore'. During the pandemic, our house sale fell through yet we didn't find out through our own agents who were Alexander. We had a weekly courtesy call from the estate agents we were buying through but not a peep from Alexander, the estate agents we are paying. When we resold, we complained so suddenly they took an interest for about 5 minutes. When we exchanged contracts and were agreeing move dates, I was doing all the leg work and heard absolutely nothing from Alexander. Since talking with others, I have not heard anyone with one good thing to say about this company. I can't believe I had to pay them nearly £4000 yet the other estate agents helped me and kept in contact with me far more. This is only a snippet of the issues we had so you can only imagine how stressful our move was. An embarrassment of a company, please don't ever waste your time or money.

GoogleMy boiler ceased operating on a Sunday but it was easy to report its failure using the &Co Online Out-of-Hours Maintenance App. It was responded to by Property Maintenance Manager Richard Evans who contacted me to advise that a gas engineer had been commissioned to investigate the problem as soon as possible. The contractor duly arrived on Monday, found the fault, made a temporary repair (as a new part was required) and left me with a warm house and hot water again. The friendly and competent gas engineer duly returned the following morning with the required new part, fitted it and also did a full annual gas check and issued a new gas safety certificate. It would be hard to conceive how a better service could have been offered.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
