We have been using the property management of Morris Armitage in Cambridge for over 3 years now (they are our letting agents here) and I can confidently say that this has been a totally positive experience. The original viewing arrangement was done promptly, then they would support us through the document submission process when applying for the property. They were really efficient in drafting the original contract too. After we moved in they have been the reliable "go to" experts in getting the right specialists/engineers fix various maintenance issues almost immediately. All in all, it's been and still is a great experience working with MA!

When calling into the office were always greeted by name as if you were their only 'customer' so you felt very valued. GoogleJames, Ben, Karen and indeed all of the team at the Downham Market branch helped us to sell my late Mum's bungalow. It was a particularly emotional time and we had a massive hiccup when the buyers pulled out 6 months into the sale. However it all ended up well with a bidding war that enabled us to realise 5k over the original asking price! Karen needs a special mention for keeping on top of everything that was going on and chasing solicitors etc and then updating us very quickly. We previously bought through Morris Armitage, and they were constantly checking on progress with our solicitor, keeping everyone updated. We listed our house with them which took quite a while to sell, but MA (we dealt mostly with Ben and Lee) couldn't have been more helpful. They regularly updating us regarding changes in the market and how our house was performing online. They came in to take updated photos a couple of times, and were really keen to ensure our house was marketed as best as it could be. Once we sold, they kept in touch with our buyers and sellers as well to keep lines of communication open. They responded to calls usually the same day, and honestly couldn't be faulted in any way. TrustpilotFelt like working for the buyer, not the seller
It felt like they were working for the buyer, not us (the seller), even though we are the ones paying the fee at the end of the day. On multiple occasions we strongly felt like our agent was working for the buyer and had no interest in us as the seller. They were condescending at times, and often not much interest in helping us, but if the buyer had a question we would be chased and chased for a quick response. It was a frutrating experience when we are the ones paying the bill at the end of the day.
