During the 7years that I have been a landlord I have employed Whitton and Lang and now Chase Buchanan in Exeter as agents to manage my flat. During that time they have always been extremely efficient and supportive in all apects of management. In particular Lianna Pitsakis has co ordinated and liased and managed several projects with my flat which has been extremely satisfactory and has always been extremely good with communication. I have been very appreciative of their constant support/.

We used Chase Buchanan to sell our flat in East Twickenham and would choose them again. We commenced their services in April, had an offer by June, and completed in September. We chose CB over several well-known competitors and are happy we made the right choice. I found dealing them to be relaxed and far less pushy than some competitors (and a more reasonable commission to boot).Alessandro took over our listing in late April and worked hard and ultimately found some committed buyers who were great to deal with, leading to a smooth sale. I would very be happy to work with him/Chase Buchanan again! Thanks Alessandro!

TrustpilotVery disappointing experience, would not rent through this agency again
Our tenancy was extremely stressful from the start. We were given the flat after a major leak, which had not been fully dealt with. The issues appeared to have been covered up and freshly painted over. It took most of the summer for the walls and flooring underneath to dry out and for the musty smell to go away. We even had to buy and run a dehumidifier for weeks at our own expense to help with the moisture and smell. The landlord did not help, and once the contract had been signed, we felt the agency showed very little interest in the problem. We then faced ongoing noise from the upstairs neighbours, with very poor sound insulation in the flat. Again, there was little the agency could do, and we had to remain in the 1 year fixed tenancy. After many sleepless nights, the tenancy finally came to an end. When we moved out, we were then faced with a £217.80 deduction from our deposit for decorating work that we disputed. We were responsible for the issues being claimed and provided evidence to support our position. After months of waiting, the dispute was finally decided by an independent TDS adjudicator. The adjudicator awarded the landlord only 37% of the disputed amount, meaning 63% was returned to us. For us, this was never just about the money. It was the stress of having to defend ourselves against things we did not cause, followed by months of waiting for the outcome. We took care of the property and had hoped to finish the tenancy on good terms. We tried to resolve things directly and provided substantial evidence, even an offer was sent to the landlord, but unfortunately the overall experience left us extremely disappointed. Even on our final day, the agency did not turn up to collect the flat keys because they had apparently mixed up our move-out date with the following month. We therefore had to drive to their office ourselves and drop the keys off the following day. Based on our experience, we would not rent through this agency again.

Had a horrible experience with chase buchanan property management team. The staff behaviour was good during check in and throughout the stay of 2 years at the property. But things changed as soon as we asked them to serve the notice. There was a lot of miscommunications from the agent involved which resulted us paying extra month’s rent and bills. There were multiple occasions when the agent has reneged on the initial agreements.From my experience I can say they don’t act professionally when you are leaving and are more concerned in looking for a replacement tenant.

Chris at Chase Buchanan has given us fantastic service from start to finish. He guided us on price point and clearly knows the market very well. 2 of the properties we gave Chris were under offer within a week of going on the market and one of them went under offer within 24 hours. Chris has always been super responsive and should we have any other properties in Exeter to sell, he will be our first call.

My property Manager George has been excellent in terms of pro-actively sorting out a serious drainage problem at the flat that I own, Co-ordinating and communicating with myself, the tenant, First Port and a loss adjuster as this matter has had to go to insurance. The process is still continuing and George is still working on this for me and I have the confidence to feel that he will bring it to a satisfactory conclusion soon.

I’ve been very impressed by the team at Chase Buchanan, especially Anna and Adele. Within 1 week they secured 7 offers on my house, one of which was £15,000 over asking price. The conveyancing process was challenging due to a restriction on the title deeds and some stringent mortgage conditions, but Adele went above and beyond to get the sale over the line. I would highly recommend!

Chase Buchanan recently purchase Fidelis in Bath. An estate agent I used back since 2015 with great pleasure.Fidelis was well run, with excellent staff.Recently they have been taken over by Chase Buchanan of the Campions group.I used their let only service recently to relet my property, and have been astounded by their incompetence.It is frankly dangerous to landlords.Chase Buchanan have to the date of this review not provided IDs for the tenants they have moved into my property, nor the inventory.This makes it impossible for me to:1. claim against any future damage as it cannot be demonstrated2. claim against any person as they cannot be identified.Furthermore, I cannot now demonstrate the tenants have right to rent in the UK as Chase Buchanan are refusing to provide documents from the tenants that identify them.This was after taking 3 months to relet the central bath property.I urge fellow landlords to look elsewhere following this merger.

We have received an outstanding service when renting a property in the Richmond area through Pippa & the team.The real differentiating factor (compared to other lettings agents) is that from start to finish everything that we have agreed on have been respected throughout the whole renting process (removal of items from the property, cleaning standards, timeline, etc.). Highly recommend. Kris Elgar has been wonderful all the way through the process, really patient with my constant questions!
