We recently bought a property from Wards Walderslade branch at a time when we were kin to change environment. The entire members of staff have been fantastic from beginning till the time we got the keys to our new home More importantly Kenny George. It was a flawless experience with them despite the lockdown issue. We are impressed with their communication and quick response. we will definitely work with them again in future. Shane and the staff at Dover so far have been marvellous!!

Shane and the other staff at Dover have been amazing. My sister and I sadly lost our father during Lockdown and selling our family home has been really tough. We spent a period of time with another agent and felt very disappointed with the service we received. This isn’t what any of us needed after our Father’s sudden death. The first day with Wards, we had three viewings and two offers. One of which we accepted yesterday from a lovely couple! Shane has been really caring around our situation and hopefully the sale will go through without any hitches.

Wards of Walderslade, thank you!

What an experience! Covid and unlucky first-time buyers further down the chain meant our sale went on a lot longer than expected even though our buyers were on board before we'd gone live on the market right until the very end. Terri Truckle was our first point of contact - she is keen, motivated, confident and professional. We went on the market sooner than planned due to her confidence in selling our property and it was snapped up with 5 days of our initial instruction. Kim Batchelor, who steps in once the chain is together, has been great at keeping us up-to-date throughout the process, knowing exactly what's going on and keeping everyone working together. Even during lockdown Kim was always accessible and was a great sounding board during a difficult time for everyone. Kenny George, the branch manager, oversaw the whole process, taking a real interest in our case as we were relocating to the other end of the country. It did get a bit tight and frantic towards exchange and completion due to covid-related difficulties down the chain, but ultimately the team worked so hard in getting us all across the line to beat the deadline set. We are incredibly grateful for how we are now making our dream move come true and will never forget how we were supported through our house sale during such unusual and difficult circumstances. Thank you!

We bought our first house through wards Gillingham and from start to finish they were nothing short of brilliant. Loads of help at the start of our journey with Claire she pointed us to all the right people and how to handle everything. They were extremely efficient with communication from start to finish. Kim was quick to it when it came to the final stages of our purchase and explained everything, was super friendly and overall brilliant. Exceeding Expectations

I had originally bought my house through Wards so when it came time for me to move they were an obvious choice to talk with about selling. I was immediately impressed by their knowledge of the local market and attention to detail and at no point did I regret my decision to commission them. They are an impressive team led by Danny with the delightfully enthusiastic James always onhand to show potential buyers the property and especially Dani Scorer acting as a beacon of calm during what became, if not fraught, then certainly challenging at times, final negotiations with the chain in which we found ourselves. Even during an especially hectic period, post lockdown, she always kept us informed throughout the process and I felt she instinctively understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. Even when she would call with perhaps less than joyous news, it was always a pleasure to hear from her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wards.

As a first time landlord

As a first time landlord with my newly refurbished pension fund. I was very cautious about which agent to choose. There are cheaper options but I believe you get what you pay for. I should mention I spoke to a lady called Grace some months earlier regarding the best colour schemes, flooring options etc to get the best chance of a decent tenant.When the property was nearly completed I spoke to Laura, a very knowledgeable helpful lady who came to the property, explained various options and left it to me. No hard sell.I contacted the Lettings team, spoke to Grace, a very bubbly lady with a great ‘can do’ attitude. Despite my flurry of calls asking all the questions you expect from a new landlord, nothing was to much trouble.If Laura or Grace we’re out of the office then the calls were always returned promptly.I had a flow of emails keeping in the loop regarding viewings, offers, due process etc. Any hitches were soon sorted.As of today, the house is rented. It has taken a year for the building works and refurb to be done, it takes time being disabled! But I can honestly say without the help of particularly Grace and Laura I don’t think it would be.They are a credit to Wards, and if I was still running my business I would have head hunted both of them!Wards and team - how it should be done.

Ask for Dani at Ramsgate -- 5 stars

Dani in their Ramsgate office has been so helpful. My father and I had been looking for properties for some time and had a bad experience with a number of estate agents -- shoddy offices, aggressive sales, slow communication. Dani at Wards Ramsgate was totally the opposite. So prompt and helpful -- always ready to speak on the phone, answers emails quickly, gives great advice (in layman's terms!) about the steps one needs to take in what's a v. confusing process for a first-time buyer. She's been a godsend. If I ever sell the place I'm currently buying I'll do it through Wards' Ramsgate branch.

Received amazing customer service and care from the Ramsgate branch of Wards. Maria Byrne was the agent responsible for helping me find a new property and she couldn't have worked harder. Mine was an unusual situation, but Maria did not let this phase her and she worked relentlessly on my behalf to secure the tenancy for me. She was also on hand to provide advice and information about the local area. I cannot express enough how positive this whole experience was for me. Out and out shabby service

On 7th September I booked a viewing of a rental property in Greenhithe, Kent advertised by Wardsofkent.There was no photo of the bedroom and I was told someone will go to the property later that day, take the photo and let me know. I rang a couple of times and there was still no news of photo but each time I was told my booking was still there. On 9th September I spoke to Marina first thing in the morning. She told me she would call me in an hour's time. She did not so I called the number again after 2 hours. This time she said she was out doing viewings and she was running late. I told her I hope she would not forget to call she said she would not. I did not hear back. I called again at 3pm and this time I spoke to Sunil who said there is still no photo available but yes my booking at 11am the next day was still in the diary. I told Sunil we were travelling a long way to view the property; my daughter  from Hastings and me from London. That our 11.30 viewing was cancelled and I asked if this viewing could therefore be moved to 11.30. He said that would depend on whether they could contact the tenant. He asked me if I wanted to cancel the booking to which I said no and that we would be there at 11.00am the next day as planned. Got to London road, Greenhithe as per plan and called the agency. Person who answered the phone said she didnt know why no one let me know that the viewing was cancelled. I said I was very dissatisfied with the service and she said she was sorry. I was very tempted to go the agency and tell them exactly how I was feeling about the service we received but decided against it mainly because of Covid restrictions but also because it was more important to give the time to write this review instead.

Dubious, untrustworthy and zero integrity. Please avoid!

Avoid this dubious, untrustworthy and awful company at all costs. Wards took an alternative offer to a seller after I had instructed solicitors following acceptance of my offer. I should have known they use dubious tactics after I offered the full guide price and Wards quickly suggested the seller needed more money, despite the fact we were the only offer being considered. Following acceptance of the offer, I was asked by Wards to instruct the solicitors they recommended (they receive a referral fee) at the earliest opportunity. Two days later, Wards called and informed me they had taken another offer to the seller, bypassing our sale agreement and demonstrating a complete lack of integrity. The alternative offer was accepted, the sale fell through and I am currently out of pocket as a result of a desperate clamber to boost a senior managers commission. If you want to sell your home, please use an alternative firm to ensure that your home is being sold by people with a moral compass. If you want to buy a home, please avoid going through Wards, as they simply can’t be trusted.

Kim has been a God sent

Kim has been a God sent! Without her perseverance and “can do” attitude, the whole chain would have fallen apart.She is a true professional. It is evident that she loves her job and she loves her clients to the point where she strives to keep everybody informed not just by emails but she adds that personal touch by making phone calls to update and reassure us that all will be well in the end. She is relentless in her efforts to resolve every problem for all the clients involved. She does all of this cheerfully and professionally.I run to pick up the phone when I see her call because I know hope is not lost and she is winning on our behalf. When she was on holiday, she was greatly missed, nobody else could fill that massive gap, I was counting the days knowing and saying that when Kim returns she will kick the doors down and she did kick the doors down.KIM IS AN ASSET TO WARDS SHE DESERVES A MEDAL!!MY DAUGHTER SAYS KIM IS SPECTACULAR AND SHE SURE IS.I can’t thank you enough Kim God bless you.

Positive and happy experience using Wards.

This is our first experience of selling a property using an Estate Agent. For us, it has been an unexpected, nice surprise. From the beginning, Wards offered a different approach, whereby their main priority was finding us our next dream home.
