GoogleUsing Connells as our estate agents to sell our house turned out to be the right choice,we did try to sell before using others but too no avail even though Connells were slightly higher in there castings we found they were up for selling it from the word off. They had already got a portfolio of clients on there books who were interested in our house which helped but 1 or 2 were time wasters which didn’t help. But eventually Rio and the team we're amazing and went above and beyond to get it over the finishing line even though we would of liked a few thousand more the market speaks for itself and house was sold and completed in October 2024 going on market in June 2024. Thanks to all at the southbourne branch.

Tuesday afternoon: Holding deposit paid, agents began reference procedures.
Thursday: Contract sent by agents and signed by all parties.
The following Monday: Picked up keys to property.
Overall an impressive experience! Big shoutout to the two wonderful ladies Lilly & Holly for banging this out so quickly under such a short timeframe. Would highly recommend!

GoogleAvoid like the plague.
I rented a flat from this firm, and they have a clause where you are immediately signed up to Ovo as an energy provider. In my case the landlord had requested them not to, but someone in Connells contacted Ovo and signed me up anyway. It was nigh on impossible to cancel this, and in the end I had to stick with unhelpful Ovo and their high prices. Connells offered no help to rectify their mistake, and were evasive and unfriendly, making inaccurate claims. It seems all they care about is their commission, and then they wash their hands of you. Dealing with them is difficult because they are a big firm and you might be sent round the houses, to head office in Wigan or wherever it is - rather than your local branch.
I will never deal with Connells again. Other estate agents are available.
