GoogleMarie-Elise, I literally don't know where to start... we honestly can't recommend Marie-Elise and the Dorking Ralph James team anymore if we tried! We chose Ralph James to market and sell our property because they're fresh, professional, friendly and have a modern approach to property marketing, not alone just bang on when it comes to valuing your property. They aim high but are realistic which never disappoints you as their client.
I felt so at ease when we met Ashley and Marie-Elise, to the point I went in for a hug! Saying goodbye to your home is never easy but it's also exciting and they brought out our excitement in their energy with absolute no pressure.
We personally had a roller coaster of a journey with a fluctuating market and a very last minute flaky buyer, but our loyalty and respect for RJ just proved us right because Marie-Elise actually worked pure magic, not only did she find us a great new cash buyer within a week of losing our previous buyer, we exchanged within a month!! Unheard of! We got to keep our chain and move into the house of our dreams because of Marie-Elise, she has not only been our estate agent and miracle worker but our counsellor, confident, and most importantly friend for life!
What's so refreshing about RJ is they put you at ease immediately as they have everything in hand, they reassure you, calm you, make time to go through every detail with you, they're organised, realistic, proactive and just genuine kind people who love what they do, their community and just get stuck in.
Marie-Elise always made herself available to talk to me on the phone or message me no matter the time or day and very rarely if she couldn't her team were always there. She also chased every solicitor in the chain and kept all other estate agents in the chain in constant communication, we had daily updates, which for someone like me is a dream to receive.
To say Marie-Elise went above and beyond to secure our next family home is an understatement, but from reading other reviews of her work over the past few months, so many of us in Dorking have been so lucky to have had Marie-Elise on our side. We are so excited for the next chapter of our lives in our dream home and it's because of Marie-Elise, we just can't thank her enough... so if you're thinking of selling please give Ralph James a call and let them help you with your next property venture, because you won't regret it!

BUYERS STAY AWAY. Dealt with Chris Stamp at Ralph James regarding a property that (allegedly) we got an offer accepted on. Never got anything in writing despite asking repeatedly, said he would do something and then not do it, kept leading us on and never got a straight answer. Eventually, we found out that the seller had accepted another offer without informing us. Will be taking this up with the ombudsman as it was clearly in breach of the code of conduct. It's a shame as it's exactly the type of agent that brings disrepute to the profession. We fully advise against anyone attempting to buy in the area - to experience such dishonest behaviour when you are handling the single largest financial transaction of your life is despicable. Avoid at all costs.

We had a very long journey due to selling 2 properties to buy a house, but Marie Elise was there for us throughout our journey, through the hard conversations, the emotions, the challenging market. I used to think an agent's job was done when they found you a buyer, but no, Ralph James are with you every step of the way, which makes them very unique and special.
