As soon as I met Matthew Staves I knew I was going to be in good hands. I couldn't speak more highly of Staves. They were excellent. Estate agents don't always get a good press, do they? Well, Staves are certainly the exception who deserve all the plaudits they get. Matt, Kate, Charly and the team were all first class and really helpful. They were always available when you wanted them, kept us properly up to date on the progress of our sale and, most importantly, genuinely gave advice. Their fees are also very competitive and I didn't begrudge them a penny. They worked very hard for us. So if you're selling or buying in Dore or Totley, go to Staves. It really is a no brainer.

We have recently sold our mother’s house, on her behalf, through Staves and are very satisfied with the service they provided. We first met Matthew Staves when he visited Mum’s house to value the property. We were impressed by his local knowledge, his interest in the house and his approach during the discussion. The process of bringing the house to market and advertising was smooth, as was arranging viewings, which Staves did on our behalf, as Mum had already relocated and we live some distance away. We were notified of every viewing and kept up to date with all feedback from prospective buyers, which they actively sought. They dealt effectively with managing offers, advising and consulting at every stage. Once a sale was agreed, Teresa was pro-active at maintaining the momentum of the sale, and her communication was excellent, with ourselves, the buyers and solicitors. We would have no hesitation in recommending to any potential sellers.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Staves. The service we received was excellent. A particular shout out to Charley who kept us informed of progress from start to finish. What I really like about Staves is that they have offices imbedded within the local community.
