Moving into our bungalow was a very stressful time due to unforseen circumstances. The staff at the Diss Office could not have been more kinder and patient with us. TW Gaze Estate Agents, in particular, Sarah Meek, have been absolutely incredible from start to finish with the purchase of my new property in Suffolk. Sarah was very accomodating. I was able to view the property 3 times myself, and my family have also been to the property a number of times. We can't thank Eva Jones at TW Gaze in Diss enough for helping us through what turned out to be a genuinely difficult purchase. The sale was delayed for months by probate issues, and dealing with the seller's accountant and solicitors was far from straightforward. Throughout it all, Eva's persistence, communication and sheer stamina were first class. She kept chasing when things stalled, kept us properly informed at every stage, and never let the process lose momentum even when it would have been easy for things to drift. Without her, we're honestly not sure the purchase would have completed at all. Last year my children inherited a property and as we had a two hour journey to get to the property and the condition of the property it was decided to sell the property by auction. The decision was made to use a local agent and solicitor to handle the sale of the property as we had no knowledge on the process of selling a property via auction. T W Gaze especially Richard not only helped us through the auction process but also presented a very derelict property in a professional manner considering the current situation in the property market has led it to selling at auction.

As John Ruskin said, ‘All great and beautiful work has come of first Gazing….’ (!) I bought my home through TW Gaze recently, and start to finish (which, thanks to Kate & Sarah, was not very long at all!) the service was way beyond anything I have experienced with any other estate agent. The staff are highly professional and with unparalleled expertise in the region, but at the same time extremely friendly, with no mile too far to go to help progress the purchase. This level of service does not happen by itself, nor overnight (and it has taken TW Gaze 170 years to become this good, so other agents are at least a century behind!), and it speaks volumes of the philosophy within the company and their commitment to giving such a high-quality service. Staff are knowledgeable, range of goods is vast. Golden rule is always look at items you are interested in or ask for condition report . Rupert is the most thorough in his write ups. It's better now with pre booking for consignments ,no queuing for hours on a Saturday. Good prices are achieved but bargains can also be found .

I placed several commission bids with this auction house in last weeks sale. Bids I place with all other auction houses are regarded as maximum bids, but not here! BEWARE. Commission bids, according to their T&Cs are discretionary, meaning they can bid more than your actual maximum bid. I was charged £400 more on 6 lots, plus their fees, costing an additional £500 more than I had intended to spend. BEWARE, I certainly will not be bidding at this auction house again!

I bought 4 lots via the Easylive internet facility. 3 of the 4 are and were obviously faulty and now consigned to the bin. Beware their 'sold as seen' get out of jail card and ask for a condition report on any item where there may be doubt. An expensive lesson learned - I will certainly not be trusting them again.
