This was a long and quite complex leasehold sale which took most of a year to bring to completion. Whitegates (and in particular Rafiq) were helpful and professional from the start - in giving advice on pricing, in proactively marketing the property and providing feedback on viewings. But what set them apart was the way they kept everything on track through the following months to a successful conclusion - no easy task. Communications were excellent, prices are fair and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I will be using them again.

I would highly recommend Whitegates. The wealth and knowledge and experience of the sales negotiator meant Whitegates were able to sell my house within a few hours of it going on the market. Prior to me chosing Whitegates,I was told by other estate agents in the area that the housing market was very slow and it was unlikely my house will sell. After my initial meeting with Rafiq, Sales Negotiator I was confident Whitegates would be able to sell my property. I can’t thank Rafiq enough.

Purchased a property recently with Whitegates and in particular dealt with Jess. The service she gave from a buyers point was exceptional, chasing ppl constantly and making sure the whole process was moving as it should. Some instances I don’t know what I would have done without her being my ‘port of call’ but we finally arrived at completion. Thank you Jess in particular and Michael who also assisted in her absence, for making the whole experience a lot smoother than it would have been had you not been there to help as much as you did. Whitegates provided us with a good service throughout, very straightforward and friendly. Rafiq and team were very supportive and seemed to have a good knowledge of the local market. My only slight reservation was that other members of the team were not always quite as well briefed on progress, so communications could perhaps be improved. However, all in all, a far better service than I could have hoped for and a good experience all round.

I have used Whitegates for letting for over two years, whist there have been issues (namely due to the condition a former tenant had left the property in) these were quickly resolved with the help of Freda who has been an excellent support overall. Another property sold smoothly through Whitegates in Dewsbury, we would never sell through anyone else. From start to finish the team is absolutely fantastic and we cannot thank Cameran, Ahmed, Jess and Michael enough. They put in a lot of hard work, always giving 110% in everything they do. We’ve interacted with a number of estate agents during our house search which has spanned over a few years. Everyone at Whitegates Dewsbury was always polite and helpful when arranging viewings etc. Ahmed was great to speak to and always had really useful advice. I had a very disappointing experience with a staff member at Whitegates’ Dewsbury branch. I called several times to speak with Ikra, who had been consistently polite and helpful throughout my application process. Unfortunately, I was met with rudeness from a male staff member (who claimed to be the manager). He refused to give his name, spoke over me, raised his voice, and was generally unprofessional during the call. I detailed this experience by submitting the contact form to Whitegates and followed up after receiving no response. This was because the individual I had the issue with identified himself as the branch manager, and I felt there would be little point in directing the complaint to the very person responsible for the behaviour. I believed that raising the matter through the main Whitegates website would ensure it reached the appropriate team. It has now been over 15 days without any acknowledgment or reply, which I find unacceptable for a company of this reputation. It’s a real shame I felt compelled to leave this review, as I was genuinely impressed with the service I received from both Imran and Ikra. Their professionalism stood in stark contrast to the conduct I encountered on that call. Edit: After posting my review, the manager called me on a no caller ID number. He identified himself as the manager and began speaking, but when I tried to speak, he told me: “Listen, shut up.” I immediately ended the call. He rang me back straight away, but I chose not to answer. I’m absolutely appalled by this behaviour. If the manager had simply shown humility and apologised, I would have happily removed this review. Instead, this interaction only confirmed the lack of professionalism I initially reported.
