We worked with Hana to sell my wife's house and she (along with the rest of the team) was amazing. It ended up being a long and complicated sale with one buyer pulling out and difficult solicitors but her customer service never dropped throughout and she was always a pleasure to speak to and work with. She was always willing to go the extra mile whether it be contacting the buyer or the solicitor on our behalf to check something if we were worried, or answering our questions and listening to us vent. If anyone is planning on selling their house Whitegates Dewsbury are a good choice. Both times our house went up for sale they found a buyer in 2-3 months.

A special thanks goes to Hana Iqbal, our sales negotiator, who was absolutely relentless in chasing various legal teams, resolving queries and keeping the process moving forward. She was always positive, responsive, extremely helpful and such a pleasure to deal with throughout. Her commitment really made a huge difference. We’d also like to thank Bee Azam, the office manager, who went above and beyond right from the start, taking the time on a weekend to appraise the property and even listing it on a bank holiday to avoid delays. He was approachable, knowledgeable and very friendly, and even stepped in to help smooth things over with legal teams (which goes far beyond the role of an estate agent). Fabulous and caring Freda

I reported several issues to Wilmans on behalf of my mum of which one was the main door lock but work never got done to the house or it was done poorly despite us living in the property for nearly 11 years and today we got locked out completely. We called the emergency number this evening and Freda was on her way home but she attended and assisted us in opening the front door then waited for the landlord to attend to change the lock. She showed him around and pointed out the problems as it was the first time she had been in too. Didn’t have much faith but landlord was shocked that the property was in such a poor condition and our landlord has been back and confirmed he will arrange for a new front door to be fitted and instruct his person to replace the kitchen and bathroom so thank you for everything and most especially for caring and it’s something to see a man speechless.

As a first time Landlord I cannot praise enough the excellent service provided by Sarah Clay (Office Manager) and her team (Nicola Neagle and Freda Mughal). From my first meeting I have been expertly guided thru the entire process. There has been great communication and assistance provided in getting the property ready for letting. This exceptional service led to the property being let and the tenant moving in within four weeks of marketing the property. As I live some distance from the property a good agent has been a must and I have this with Sarah and her team. I would highly recommend Whitegates in Dewsbury especially for lettings.

Thanks Whitegates (& Danni)!Before Danni took over a property I am purchasing, I was used to constantly nagging and following up just to get things moving. But with Danni, it was like a breath of fresh air. She was on top of everything, coordinating like a pro, and keeping me in the loop every step of the way.For three and a half months, Danni was there, patiently guiding us through the process and making sure everything went smoothly. I cannot recommend Whitegates enough. Best estate there is! Having had terrible experiences with online estate agents with trying booking viewings for a potential new house for us to purchase, the descriptions of homes being incorrect, the online systems rubbish! I am so glad we decided to go with a high street estate agent, especially with Whitegates. They have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish and all in between! We have had numerous setbacks along the way, and Claire at Whitegates in Dewsbury has gone above and beyond, she is amazing. An absolute star. Whitegates acted for my 90 year old mother when recently selling her house in Dewsbury and purchasing an apartment in a Sheltered Housing development. She arranged accompanied viewings and liaised with me as well as Mum by phone and email. Upon securing a buyer, Danni then liaised with the Sheltered Housing developer, to ensure the sale and purchase were completed smoothly and efficiently. Rented property issues upon vacating

I had some issues when vacating my rented property of 4 years recently. My final inspection was completed by a previous member of staff and some issues with the property were found - after the inspection was completed my case was then taken over by Freda who assisted how she could in resolving them as fairly and cheaply as possible, including resolving some of the issues herself. After the property was then inspected by the landlord, further issues arose that were not brought up within the final inspection, again performed by a previous member of staff. This caused myself a great deal of anger and distress as the many of the issues were present in the property when I moved in. When Freda was made aware of this she investigated in great depth, went out of her way and fought my case extremely well. I highly recommend her as a property manager who listens well, fights a fair case and creates the best possible outcome.

I can honestly say, the customer service from whitegates has been nothing but exemplary. I was a buyer, whitegates received no monies from me, yet Claire went above and beyond to support me with the purchase I wanted to make. Above and beyond was no effort for Claire, her warmth and welcoming nature, even at times when things were not going smoothly mainly with solicitors and time scales, she helped as best she could.
