I recently moved into a property & Sam was lovely, very professional and polite during viewing & moving day, Lucy was also a great help and was always happy to help anytime I phoned up. They were both great with updates and would be happy to answer any questions I had throughout the moving process. Recently had a problem with the property & they were very quick to sort this the same day! Brilliant & friendly team ☺️

My partner and I had a great experience letting our new flat. We were feeling defeated after trying to schedule viewings with other agencies in the area only to be told that there were no viewings available. When we called Miller Countrywide about a property, the customer service was top notch, and we were booked for a viewing the next day. Sam was our letting agent and he was great. He was so helpful and genuinely friendly. It was easy to communicate with the agency and they were prompt with getting us into our new place. Overall, it was just a great experience.

I cannot praise Miller , particularly Sales , enough. My Aunt and I had been searching for our future home, without success. We decided to walk to a Road we had always liked and Aaron was coming out of a property there . He could have said to ring the office, but no , this is an exceptional young man . He took the time to take all our details, what we needed the house to have , and said he'd be in touch. The very next day , as promised, he sent over property details , kept in touch making courtesy calls to see how we are and how our search was progressing. We would not go past Miller in Torquay. Miller are extremely lucky to have him , he's not a typical estate agent, he has integrity, which is extremely rare.

I have had two lots of dealings with Miller Countrywide, Torquay. The first was around five years ago, when at that time, these Letting Agents did leave somewhat to be desired. However I am now involved with them again as Letting Agents for a Flat in a different part of Torquay and I have nothing but praise for them, especially for Lucy Vans-Colina whom I have dealt with the most. The staff at Miller Countrywide have shown kindness and professionalism, as well as a firm resolve to overcome any problems that have arisen whilst becoming a Tenant of theirs once again. A small amount of work has been required in respect of the Flat I am moving into and without any delay Lucy very kindly got hold of the Firm of Contractors that Millers use and the Contractor who visited the Flat was very polite, competent and reassuring. All in all I am very pleased to be involved with these Letting Agents as one of their tenants. May they go from strength to strength.

My experience with every estate agent from Miller countrywide in Falmouth has been fantastic, I originally viewed a flat with them which they held onto for me for weeks, stayed in contact during this process and then were kind enough to negotiate with the landlord with another flat, direct me to the correct location over the phone and reorganise a missed viewing the same day. I had the pleasure and privilege of being helped and supported by Laura Stuart. The factors leading me to require the support of Miller were due to my relationship ending badly and Laura was very sympathetic to my situation. I also have ADHD and sometimes my lack of attention and patience can be difficult for others to deal with. But not Laura. She had lorry loads of empathy, patience, understanding and professionalism. I have just sold my flat with millers which was on the market for 2 years with 3 other agents. 2 sales previous fell through which was when we thought we would try millers. Within less than a week we had a offer we were happy with. Cheryl was very helpful and profession throughout the whole process and even when we did come across a couple of issues she was very quick to sort these out. Placed my property for sale with MillerCountrywide Penzance back in April 2023 with an ‘Offers Over’ notice on the price, and a guarantee from the staff that any potentials will have been checked to ensure they had funds. First visitors said they did not have the budget, so do not know why they visited. Second made an offer below price, which I turned down as was told the price was based on offers over. Since then there has been 1 visit, over a week ago, I am still waiting after calling the agents 3 times for an update on how the visit went.

The initial meeting discussing mortgage options went well, but after learning of our income and budget and what could be lent, all interest in helping us dwindled. There was no enthusiasm or help in getting us a mortgage. My partners pregnancy was used against us as a reason that we may not be able to get a mortgage due to maternity pay. We were told we could only borrow a small amount from lenders and it had to be now as closer to the due date we would most likely be declined. We had a large deposit and yet we were not taken seriously. We were sent only one property to look at which was not even suitable to our needs. Emails went unanswered and we just got the feeling that we weren’t valued as potential customers, so we went elsewhere and secured a mortgage with no issue. Terrible service, would not recommend.
