We have used Martin & Co York for 6 years and have had nothing but problems since day 1. They are unprofessional and have lost documents, sided with the landlord, unnecessarily charged us, and the communication is the worst I’ve ever experienced. We will be leaving for another agency soon and it’s not a day too soon!

GoogleRented from Martin and co for three years and nothing but endless problems. Landlord let drug addicts live in the building and when we moved out we had to wait for 2 months before we got our deposit back and they took a £100 of our money for cleaning which was not really needed. Rubbish company to rent from

I have the most horrible experience with them, They are holding my deposit and not want to give to me back, They accused me of the damge in the flat, and when i told them i want to see the damage i been told we not allow!!!!They serves most bad experience in my whole life👎👎👎👎👎👎

Went with Martin and Co I few years back.They lied on the terms of the contract about the electric bill. Three years later I get hit with a CCJ after they falsified information. I've successfully fought them in court and won now. They also refused to return deposit and this was lies as well.

Had no trouble with Martin and Co until recent horrible experiences with a property manager at the Worcester branch, who has been sending emails with threatening language regarding extra bills (for damages not pertaining to our household). The property manager ought to take responsibility rather than bullying the residents into doing his job.

They dont help with complaints at all. You can call up, email, go in to their office and they'll act all nice, say they're going to fix what you want but they never will. They're terrible. I've rented many houses with other estate agents in the past but they are by the far the worst.

Liars. Unprofessional. Useless. Landlords should NEVER use this Agency as they only do 'ad hoc' duties for the Managment Contract and do not care about the standard of the property nor the Tenant(s). Their Beeston Office (NG9) is SHEET!

Awful service from start to finish. Numerous issues with the property, including mold on windows and doors, security gate never working, broken buzzer and intercom. We’ve now been out of the property for 3 weeks and no sign of any of the deposit being returned. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleTenants have recently moved out of a buy to let I have with Martin & Co. Property in good order, carried out limited maintenance and a new tenant moved in a week later. Perfect service & exceptional in these circumstances. Thank you to all the team. Regards Andy Taylor.

Worst agent I've ever rented with. Very poor service. I have rented a property managed by Martin and co and can say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with an agent. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Staff are incompetent and unresponsive. Worst agent ever. Do not recommend at all. Avoid at all costs.

I am a landlord. Evicted my tenant without my knowledge, and have then been trying to charge me for this service ever since. Rarely answer the phone, and do not call back after leaving a message. They used to be really good up until they where taken over a few years ago.

I don't understand what happened to warrant such an ill mannered response to my request for an update of their services. I have to vote with my feet based on today's interaction. If you have to deal with this company, deal with Maggie, she's lovely.

Terrible service from Gosport Branch. Tenant hasn't paid rent for 2 months, Gosport lettings team not returning calls to let me know what's happening, I have to constantly call for updates. Tenant doesn't pay council tax, I recieve letters when Gosport should be dealing with this. It is unbelievable. Use another agency for sure!
