GoogleWe have been letting from HB for 18 months. The property management is shocking. They are not supporting us at all. I am very disappointed with the service we are receiving. They take no pride in their work

The team in the office were fantastic and always happy to help. I would definitely use Hall and Benson again.

GoogleNot interested in working with the vendor to sell a property. The sales process is poor not to mention the communication or lack of it from the staff and the general customer service is left wanting. If you want to sell your property then don’t waste your time with this estate agency as they tie you in for a fixed term and do absolutely nothing to get the property marketed effectively and sold. Hall & Benson Allestree branch are not professionals in sales or customer service.

GoogleDon't trust this company. We found a house with Hall and Benson toward the end of August in South Normanton. To cut a long story short information has been withheld about the previous Tenant who had used the house for criminal activities. This withholding of information led to two men in a blue BMW threatening me with knives whilst I was alone on the day we moved in as they thought I was connected to the previous Tenant. Hall and benson showed us no sympathy, passed on the wrong details for the the landlord and finally tried to wash their hands of the event when we started asking tough questions. At the end me and my Partner lost most of our money and had to spend another month looking for a place to stay. If you have a choice go somewhere else.

GoogleHaving recently rented a property through Hall and Benson, I have to say that I was greatly impressed by the way Paula handled things. The speed and efficiency which things happened giving me a moving in date less than 2 weeks from the initial viewing of the property which I have to say I thought was a bit optimistic, but was delivered. Paula's guidance regarding the required documentation was invaluable and obviously has very good knowledge about what's required in her role. Thank you so much.

GoogleHaving been a landlord for 22 years, I can truthfully say that i have yet to come across a letting Agent like Hall and Benson who fire on all cylinders. From the start I was allocated a single point of contact namely Lauren who has been absolutely fantastic. From my very first meeting with her she managed my expectations honestly and throughout the process kept me fully updated in respect to appointments, viewings and general feedback on the property. She really is a diamond of an asset to the company. That said the rest of the team including Paula work just as hard and try their utmost to resolve queries and issues in a prompt and professional manner. I sincerely thank you all for making the experience as seamless as you did.

GoogleStay Clear at all costs !! I don't normally leave reviews but I feel like I need to on this occasion as I feel so let down and frustrated by Hall and Benson. They are nothing but inconsiderate liars, after dealing with many estate agents over the years these are by far the worst. Their incompetence and untruthfulness has cost me a lot of time and money and also caused me a great deal of stress. Never again will I deal with /hall and Benson.

GoogleI would strongly advise people to be very cautious, when renting a property with Hall and Benson. We rented a property for 8 years and was forced out as the Landlord wanted the property back. We was served a section 21 with 6 months notice. This was our family home, where my son grew up. We looked after the property and over the years I decorated, to add value to the house with the landlords permission. The original inventory was awful, doors hung upside down, flooring in poor state and generally dirty, but at that time I was heavily pregnant. So a roof over our heads was our main concern, the landlord never addressed issues, such as single pained windows to the rear (Rotton) which are now illegal. The company has been aware of many maintenance issues over the years to which, themselves or landlord never sorted. It was deemed very dangerous from the electiral report, which we didn't have a clue what we was living in (luckily nothing happened) As you can see from the photos iv provided, this is the state it was left with for several months after the electrics was rewired, leaving holes and plastic trunking throughout. They left us with so much mess and rubbish, I had to pay for someone to clear. As I have a child and dog it took us several hours to clean up . The landlord also left us 8 days with the front door lock damaged, unable to lock. I rang and said being on a main road it's unsafe, to which was told to put something against the door! After all this we had, had enough and found a better property. We have now been moved out 4 weeks, now they are trying to withheld our deposit for CLEANLINESS! It's absolutely discusting the way I have been treated. Left waiting for replies, no evidence of the quotes they have gave me supporting their claims we left that property dirty. The woman I delt with Andrea has now left the company, without notifying me, so Iv been told theyre starting from scratch. It's not good enough, all I want is for my deposit to be returned as we was brilliant tenants. Just shows how greedy the company and landlord are, trying to use our money to get the house to a rentable state, because he knows he can't sell or rent it out in its current condition. They don't no theyre own rules on the deposit scheme, and clearly have no duty of care to the tenants living in poorly managed properties.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleI am an experienced Chartered Surveyor who deals with estate agents on a daily basis and thus I expect to receive high standards of response from them. Initially I appointed another agent in Allestree to market my father’s house, but even in a good market they produced no enquiries, that agent has since closed their Allestree office. I then turned to Hall and Benson who allocated Lisa Hunt as my contact. Lisa more than met my high standards of advice and response and with sensible mutual discussions she achieved my objective. I would add that I did not inform Lisa of my profession until the end of the process. Well done and I thoroughly recommend Hall and Benson to you .PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
