Tyer, where to start, what a friendly guy. I fired many questions at this guy and every time he gave an answer, if he did not have it immediately he found out the answer and ALWAYS came back to me via phone or email. He made the process easy and was very transparent about the where I was in the process. Could not recommend him enough. A little shout out to Simone as well, answers the phone a lot (or I always seemed to get her or Tyler), always passes a message across and makes sure you are called back. Brilliant experience and would highly recommend.

Well... where do I start! I moved into a property that had no seen a clean in about 6months. The garage was rammed full of the previous tenants stuff... which I was told i have to give them reasonable time to move it out!! (I already moved in plus first months rent paid) the back garden was like a jungle & a skipyard... (i was told can't i just sort it myself) there was a massive leak that caused the kitchen ceiling to come in & leave all damp in the kitchen... (this was still the same after i left) i asked a staff member to come round to the property prior to me leaving. Was told it looks exactly the same to when we moved in. To then get less than a week after move out the landlord trying to charge me for stuff that was already damaged... if you have the choice to not use this agency please avoid by a long long stretch! You will be disappointed & find that they don't actually sort anything bar side with the landlord that's paying them conveniently.....

Do not rent under any circumstances. We advised Hall and Bensons that we would vacate the property and gave ample notice. The landlord increased the rent from £875 to £960 per month for the last 3 months. No compassion whatsoever, you would believe that an increase in rent would not have been done 2-3 months before leaving on the basis of spending nearly 4 years in the property. We vacated the property over 28 days ago, check out was carried out early January. I was assured that they will keep me up to date. I initiated every contact and still waiting for the deposit and apparently waiting for quotes? Not made aware that they are waiting for quotes. Still don't know what the quotes are for? We lived in the property for nearly 4 years, standard wear and tear, no malicious damage to the property was done. Hall and Benson are still processing "quotes" a month later. We have rented several times previously and deposits were dealt with within 7-14 days after checkout. If you want to be mugged out of your deposit rent a property through Hall and Bensons. They are masters at fobbing you off. Companies like Hall and Bensons give estate agents a bad name. Customer service - 0 Customer care - 0 Compassion - 0 Communication - 0

While having legal support from DAS legal solicitors, Molly has coordinated information between all parties, which was vital, especially up to and during a stressful court hearing. Rented through Hall and Benson for 3 years. Rude on the phone, condescending and a jobs worth. Now after leaving the property in a better condition than I had to live in from the lack of maintenance done them/landlord has fought me for compensation from things as small as a missed sweet wrapped behind furniture i missed. While in the property my child was 2 and from that age till we left was holes everywhere and nothing was done even when I advised mice were coming in the house for 2 years. Advised of issues whole time while there and when I left they were used against me to get deposit back. House was so cold was warmer outside. Will never use this company ever again, avoid. Joke. When this company make a mistake they don't apologise they make you feel its your issue and hound you for things continually. House checks are supposed to be done 3 a year, but only done in summer months every other month and then once summers over you don't see anything of them till summer again. Worst experience of my life, really affected my mental health specially as the mind games that went on from them and having to live in such terrible conditions for saying was paying to live there. Update - After having to complain to the company after having been left the property 15 months ago, in the last 2 month been contacted by 6 contractors to do work on that property I left. Complained to company and in writing a month ago and was advised they would take my contact details out. However now a month later I receive another contractor contacting me about the property to do work on. When I ring they say they will try not to let it happen again but didnt seem too concerned that my details were given out 7 times after leaving and said was just a mistake. I don't see how after being told about this happening twice and apparently they taken my details off their records that my contact details are being sent out still. They said was just a mistake but after previously been contacted so many times I don't see how 7 different contractors contacting me and after knowing I've raised a formal complaint how it happens again but its still just a mistake.

I viewed a house I liked the look of to rent met Hayley during the original viewing, they kept me in the loop letting me know I'd been accepted as a tenant and of the progress of the redecoration and recarpeting. They are really well organised on getting everything needed done up front (including council tax, energy suppliers etc...) Slight hitch on moving day with the keys (the contractor who had been to the house left the wrong keys), but Hayley and the team got it sorted the same day. Couldn't ask for more really, good estate agent.
