We changed estate agents after my sales chain collapsed during lockdown. We had been frustrated with how difficult it was to contact my previous agent, how there had been little attempt to group viewing appointments together and how viewers complained that they had struggled for weeks to book viewings. We had reservations that if we swapped agents then it would be inconvenient and time- consuming to produce new marketing information and photographs but instead it was hassle free. Storeys use innovative marketing techniques and embrace social media to reach a wider audience. They set-up a WhatsApp group so that we could communicate with them at all times and their responses were instant which was a breath of fresh air. It was also extremely convenient how they grouped viewings to substantially reduce our workload. We were impressed with the number of viewings that Storeys arranged and the high percentage of offers received. We achieved a price for our property that was above the asking price. Storeys are not the cheapest estate agents when they quote their fee but I believe that they are the best value for money in the region. The convenience of not having to prepare for as many viewing sessions together with how responsive and professional communication with them was, resulted in a relatively stess-free sale. I have already recommended Storeys to several friends who will be selling their houses in the coming months.

Storey Estates are a refreshing enterprise to the Estate Agency Sector. Quite by chance we decided to view a property with this Agency. A well presented property but it was already under offer. A conversation with Ian Storey Re our future plans to move house. Maybe a little different from most. Should we consider moving down under where both our kids live? . Or consider staying in Uk locally or coastal? ... our final move for retirement. Having lived in a wonderful location and setting for 25 yrs and thinking it will be hard to move from here we’ve taken such pride in our home. Ian came chatted and was very professional and engaging. I can’t rate Storey Estates highly enough. I found my dream home without having my house on the market. The advice received got me my sale in just 2 1/2 weeks, despite having plenty of new builds and properties of the same type on the market. The promotion and organisation was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and I was kept in the loop with interest from the promotion. Even once the sale had been agreed, the service continued with Ian following up on every aspect which saved me having to chase certain elements I have previously had to do myself. Having bought and sold plenty of properties previously, I can honestly say this is the best service I have ever received! Do not hesitate to go with Storey Estates as you will not be disappointed.
