Excellent service from Wards lettings department

This was the second time I have let my property through Wards. I was pleased to find the same excellent letting agent, Matthew Pattenden, was in charge again. Once again the process was efficiently organised and very satisfactory. The house was marketed for just a few days and had plenty of applicants. The agent had a well organised system in place for identifying key information to help find the most suitable tenant and he spent time in discussion with me until we agreed on who it should be. He took my criteria into account, provided sound advice and made it straightforward. He kept in touch throughout the whole letting process. The paperwork was also straightforward and could be read and signed online. I was able to choose to manage the property myself - exactly the level of service that I wanted, and Wards offered a range of insurances. In the background his assistant, Victoria, was equally efficient in answering my questions promptly and knowledgeably via email. I would definitely recommend Wards letting service.

Well, i went with your company to let my house. It was on the market for over 2 months and got absolutely nothing from you. I would not recommend your company at all, i was lied too on numerous occasions about the keys when i asked for them to be posted to give to my new agent. I had to make about 4 phone calls, chasing them to be posted and was told they had been on Friday. Marina said she had sent them recorded delivery for monday... this was a lie. I didn't receive the key until the following friday. It was NOT recorded delivery! Very unprofessional, glad i left.

Went in to the branch today to find out about houses on the market in the area and to leave some details. I was immediately greeted by the team and they all had a friendly and approachable manner! James invited me to sit down and took all my details, with none of the pressures I've experienced in other places! He was very good at understanding what type of property we would be needing and it was all very easy and comfortable! Looking forward to using them in the near future! Very impressed indeed!

I really enjoyed meeting a very professional, bright and friendly estate agent Milly Hallett when she first showed me round the flat I am now ready to complete on last year as well as showing me a few other properties. She was incredibly helpful, making suggestions how the properties could work for me as a home, she even looked up what size bed would fit in the bedroom. I met her again today at my flat, so nice to be greeted by her as she remembered my daughter and I and again she gave great advice how to use the space well. Buying a property as a newly single person can be daunting but Milly’s welcoming attitude and guidance made the experience enjoyable and exciting. Debbie Ogden the sales advisor has been easy to contact, professional and made the whole process run smoothly. Thank you both.

From the first time I bought my house and to now selling it years down the line I new I would go back to Wards paddock wood to Julie and Nick Topping. The experience and customer service and knowledge both nick and Julie have is brilliant. Nick had always been on hand by phone email or in branch to answer and help with all aspects of my mortgage..., nothing has been to much trouble for him to answer or do . Julie topping has been the go to person for me for the sale of my house and has been truly wonderful about all my questions and some times worries but has always answered and guided me through... I have felt supported and safe in their expert hands .... I have no hesitation in recommending this amazing couple when buying or selling your house .

My husband and i have become Landlords for the first time. Abi and Hamid have guided us through all the paperwork and guidelines necessary to have our property ready for a tenant. Its quite a stressful experience but they have explained everything and have been available whenever we have had an enquiry or worry. Wards helped us where others failed

We turned to Wards after previously using another local agent that we weren’t happy with - it was like night and day. Kai really took on board our goals, made us feel positive about our property where we had lost hope in selling it, and gave us honest, trustworthy advice throughout. It really made a difference having someone on side who knew the market and truly wanted the best for us. Selling during a global pandemic was challenging and brought a lot of uncertainty, so having the support of an estate agent we could trust made a world of difference. The team at Wards is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent service

Excellent service Had a lot of trouble with other estate agents either not replying or taking a while to reply and not giving all relevant information. We came across Wards and from the get go, they were excellent. Matthew in particular was a star, he helped us find our new home that was suitable for us and the children, he was always on hand to answer any questions and was always a phone call away for any issues, which there were none.Could not recommend Wards enough!

Walderslade & Kim Batchelor sale progression

We did not actually use Wards as our estate agents, however someone else in our chain was using them. Our chain was very long and had a number of difficulties throughout and without Kim from Wards it probably would have all fallen through. She ended up being the main point of call for everyone in the chain keeping everyone updated and emailing solicitors chasing for various outstanding documents. As a result of this if we ever sell a house again we would definitely use Wards over an online agent and would ask for Kim as in our opinion she goes above and beyond.

We bought our house originally from Wards, so when it came to sell we went with them as we had a good experience a buyers.We were selling our house over the Christmas Period (2019) and Wards were very proactive and on the ball in marketing our house and getting viewings at what is normal a quiet time. Come the second week of January we received an offer for the asking price.Unfortunately Covid-19 and lock down hit in March and our sale could have fallen through, however Kim Batchelor our sales progressor was great in helping us get our sale over the line with what was a rather erratic buyer at a very insecure time.

We got 3 estate agents to value our house. They all came up with the same value. We went with Wards because of their reach and marketing. We were kept informed of viewings and the results including feedback. We had an offer within a couple of weeks. And have been kept informed of progress throughout. This has been particularly impressive considering we were in Covid lockdown throughout.. Kim regularly in particular chased the buyers solicitor who was clearly finding difficulty working Efficiently in lockdown. Very impressed with the whole wards team. Will certainly highly recommend to others..

Excellent customer service and professionalism taking the needs of the customer first and foremost.

I would like to highly recommend Wards Estate Agents in Hythe. We had quite a lengthy and complex buy and sell as the chain both down several times; but with each hurdle Wards stepped up their game to keep things moving and arrange additional viewings. We finally exchanged contracts last week and I would like praise the professionalism, support and knowledge of the team at Hythe. In particular I would like to thank and recognise Darren Cakebread for his excellent customer service, for always keeping us informed on what was happening and guiding us through each step; he added that extra personal touch to get to know us and our needs. Incredible service from Marina

Incredible service from Marina at the Dartford Lettings office, especially during the covid19 restrictions in place. She has gone above and beyond in finding a tenant for my apartment. I received a call a couple of weeks ago to inform about the NHS scheme to help key workers and thought it was a great idea. Marina completed a video tour on my apartment last week and informed me that a NHS worker has called to make an offer after viewing today. I’m so grateful of the help when I was fully expecting the apartment to be empty for months due to covid19. Well done Marina!
